Perfect location - a few minutes´walk from the Old Town, a tram stop a few metres away (combination of trams No. 4 and No. 2 will get you here from the airport). A short walk to the seafront. The room was a bit cold and you could hear quite a lot of noise from the street. No wardrobe or chest of drawers, only a couple of hangers. But that is something you might expect.

We only slept two nights in this hostel in a private room. In summer the room is extremely hot and one of the window is permanently locked. The other one opens on a very busy street and it is impossible to sleep because of the noise. Two stars only for the location.

The staff are so friendly and the hostel is very clean no complains. The staff were so kind and even booked us a taxi to bus station when leaving. It was one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely safe for female solo travelers

I slept at Fat Margaret's twice, taking a ferry to Helsinki between my two stays. The hostel is located a short walk from the ferry port, a short walk from the train station (which has wonderful markets), and across the street from the entrance to Tallenn's classic Old Town. It's also just a hundred yards from a tram stop. I couldn't think of a better location. The building (dated back to 1912, I was told) is old style European stone and brick and feels like a millionaires mansion at a surprisingly budget price. There are numerous bathrooms and showers. There's a full size sauna and cooling pool open to all every morning from 9-11 am. The kitchen and dining space is modern and designed so several people can cook there at the same time. The staff is friendly and helpful.

【優點 pros】 1. 房間：入住雙人房，房間空間夠大，可以攤開行李平放地下。床也很舒服。Double room is large enough to put my luggage and stuff. Bed is comfortable. 2. 位置：住宿不在古城範圍裡，但也只是對面馬路而已，非常方便，還有好處是可以不用拖著行李走石板街。而且離碼頭很近，步行大約十分鐘；住宿外馬路就有電車站，可以到達巴士站。 Although it isn't located inside the old town, it's still near (and you don't have to cross the road in old town with luggage). It's 10 mins walk from the Pier. If you have to go to the Tallinn Bus Station, you can take the tram right in front of the hostel, which is very convenient for transition between cities. 3. 員工很友善，願意幫忙，而且櫃臺是24小時。 Staff are nice and helpful. The counter is available 24/7 【缺點 cons】 1. Wi-fi有時會斷線。 Wi-fi sometimes doesn't work. 2. 房間不隔音，有些住客凌晨兩三點還在大，叫，把我吵醒了。The room is not soundproof. Woke up by other guests who talked so loudly at 2 or 3am.

Again accommodated in Fat Margaret's in dbl room with private bathroom (Att. your choice if you want to have shared of private). Very comfy, great staff, clean definitely value for money. Also great common area very clean and roomy with a lot of kitchen utilities. It was great to meet other travellers there. Also sauna and swimming pool were great.

Stayed at this hostel with a friend to explore Tallinn. Great base, very close to Old Town to explore. Room was okay, small but acceptable. Stayed in a private twin room, shared bathroom - bathroom was close by the room, but okay. Doors were very squeaky and loud at night. There was a large common room, we didn't use it, but seemed comfortable enough.

Hardly to believe is a hostel, I booked a private room with bathroom and it was very spacious and great sleep quality. The location is perfect, is a few steps from the city walls and the old town - you can walk everywhere and there is bus and tram stops just across the street.

I booked this hostel as it was seemingly the only one in Tallinn that had a 24 hour reception and I was due to arrive late. As promised, this wasn’t a problem and I was able to check in despite issue, even though it was close to midnight. The hostel is also in a great location. Old town, the harbour and train station are all easily accessible. They also have a good common room! I was travelling alone but this made it easier to meet new friends. Now onto what let’s the hostel down... there were not enough shower facilities on each floor. These were often occupied meaning guests had to trudge down to the basement to get washed and changed. The place wasn’t filthy either, though it could benefit from the cleaner going round a little more frequently. Perhaps my biggest gripe is that whilst all the beds seem to have their own light fittings, they don’t have a power outlet. If you come here be prepared to charge your technology away from your person. …

Located near the port area just outsidethe old town walls at Fat Margaret tower, this hostel is open 24/7 with someone on reception all the time. This is great if you arrive late. It's an old buidling with high ceilings so noise can travel especially when people open doors on the ground floor in the middle of the night. Our twin, on this floor, also only had one large opening window overlooking the car park. This meant that we couldn't leave a window open overnight because someone could have climbed in if they'd wanted to. The room was dusty although the ensuite bathroom quite clean. The shower cubicle had seen better days though. The furniture was very dated and too big for the room. However, the mattresses were very good and firm.The common room downstairs was equipped with a table tennis table, a TV, some seating which had also seen better days and a few tables. This adjoined the kitchen which had two large fridge freezers, two small hobs and two sinks.There are lots of pans for cooking, plates too but not enough mugs. We never saw more than 7 during our stay. If you want to self cater, there is a very well stocked, well priced supermarket 5 mins walk away. Ther eis also a small plunge pool and sauna open between 9-11am but we didn't use it.…
