We were recently treated to 3 amazing nights at the Bridgettine Convent at the end of a 1 month tour through Eastern Europe & Russia, where we mainly stayed in 4 star centrally located hotels. What a contrast and what a delight our 'out of town' stay in Tallinn turned out to be. Set in a peaceful location close to...

We stayed six nights here. The fare is basic: the beds are very firm and the breakfast is...um...sparse. But that is not a detractor. Instead, it is exactly as you would expect at a convent. The staff are nine nuns from India and Mexico. They have been providing traveler accommodations for hundreds of years -- and they have gotten pretty...

If you take one of rooms 11-18, you will get a view of the 1407 convent ruins (which in the Middle Ages was the biggest church in the Baltic region), and a rose garden. Other rooms just have a view of the gardhe (which is all around the convent). Since the windows are huge and make uo half of the...

The guesthouse is part of the new convent out near Pirita Beach - about 15 minutes by taxi from the ferry. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with an ensuite. Our window looked down over the ruins of the old convent - deceptively small, until you go exploring them in the morning before breakfast and before normal tourists...

Brigettine convent guest house is run like a bed and breakfast; basic rooms and a very good value. The guest house is next to the current convent on the grounds of the 1407 St. Brigitta convent ruins. You have free access to the ruins from the guest house even when they are closed to the public. Tallinn is a 10...

The Convent Guest House is easy to find, not in the old town but in walking distance to water views and a beach. I was welcomed by the lovely Sisters and shown a clean, but simple room (the en suite bathroom was modern and large). The breakfast was simple but adequate. I have stayed in a convent before and this was...

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The nuns were happy and welcoming and very helpful. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The nuns made our stay in Tallinn one we will never forget. Breakfast was plentiful and vehicle security excellent.

Wow ! Completely delightful experience; a true sanctuary for those weary from the road. I had my best sleep in ten days, and awoke to the sound of plainchant rising from the chapel in the distance. The Convent itself is a superbly-designed Modernist facility, set against the backdrop of the ancient town, for those that seek quality of the Architecture...

The previous reviews pretty much say it all. We had relaxing stay here and glad we chose to stay out at Pirita. We were warmly welcomed by the sister from Kerala who had lived in England and so had good English. Some of the sisters are from Mexico so Spanish is obviously an advantage. The convent is very modern, clean...

We were welcomed to this peaceful and nice guesthouse by smiling sisters. The rooms are bright, modern and clean. The sleep quality was so good that I didn't hear the church bells on neither of two mornings. The breakfast is good and tasty. The convent has a beautiful well-kept garden. Pirita beach is 5 minutes walk away, Tallinn City centre...
