Quaint & quirky, the Hotel Taanilinna hotel is in a great location just a ten minute walk from the centre of the old city of Tallinn. Don't let the simple exterior deter you, once inside you will find a charming old world hotel, a cosy atmosphere and friendly & helpful staff. The rooms are a good size, clean and decorated... More

The best thing with this hotel was the great location and the nice atmosphere. Rooms were clean. Staff was polite but could have been a bit more out-going. Breakfast was good and good quality. Good value for your money.

What a lovely and charming hotel! From the moment I stepped in to the moment I left I felt right at home. The room was nice and clean and had just the perfect size. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is situated just outside the city wall and you can easy get to the Old Town or other... More

Stayed at the twin deluxe room with our three year old for three nights. The room was of a good size to three people and our child slept at the sofa bed free of charge. The hotel is situated at the old town. Yet it has a quiet location. An old building that doesn't have an elevator but has a... More

Great location right outside the old city wall. Good sized room, bathroom okay, nice breakfast buffet selections - hot and cold. Weekend reception not overly helpful or friendly but answered basic questions. Disco noise Sat night but Sun night was quiet, so maybe ask for a room further from the side street.

Lovely hotel in perfect location whether you are a tourist or on a work trip. The staff couldn't do enough to make me feel at home. Lovely breakfast with lots of variety, fresh fruit, choice of eggs and bread etc. Go for a deluxe room. Only a few euros more and well worth it. Polite reception staff. Would go back... More

This hotel was the chosen hotel for our Baltic Tour with Back Roads Tours. Upon arrival the staff were extremely nice, helpful and very friendly. However once we got to our room you could say I was EXTREMELY disappointed. It was tiny. Like a shoebox. There was nowhere for our cases. I could barely fit between the wall and the... More

traveling alone, i received a very small room, but it was adequate. great shower, adequate towels, nice breakfast and friendly staff. there is a lot of construction taking place in the immediate area, but i didn't notice any related noise. there was a very noisy heavy metal band playing in a building across the street, late into the night, which... Taanilinna Hotel is a quaint hotel in the Old Town of Tallinn. We stayed here for 3 nights, and can't fault it at all. Even with the window open our room was quiet, meaning we managed to get a decent sleep! Superb shower as well, kept a decent temperature (maybe it's just me but a good shower makes a big... More

This hotel is perfect, a beautiful building with character, spacious extremely comfortable rooms with excellent facilities, fantastic breakfast and in a lovely city. Most of all however what struck us most - was how genuine, warm and friendly all the staff were. That makes such a difference. On top of all that - two minutes walk into the centre of... More
