I chose this hotel for the location. It's right at the center of town. The room was quiet small and it looked clean. But the biggest surprise were the red spots that I had all over my body in the morning. BED BUGS!!! And I wouldn't be surprised if they know about it. I showed the red spots from the bites to the receptionist when I checked out and asked the manager, that was not at the hotel, to contact me. After a few days I send an email. No one contacted me. I wanted them to know that they have a problem and to make sure that they take care of it. Unfortunately the couldn't care less.

Situating right in the Viru street this is as central in the old town as can be. It offers parking for 20€/night in the back yard which is nicely hidden in the muurivahe side of the hotel. The room was very small. A bit scruffy and old fashioned but the bathroom was a bit more modern. The reception did not find our reservation through hotels.com at first and also they almost tried to demand extra for breakfast which was already paid for. The staff did not seem very enthusiast or pro but in the end friendly enough as Estonians are even less customer-prone than Finns. First breakfast was from the menu. The second was buffet. Serving juices from one bottle on ice at the counter was not a very good idea because two customers can empty it in two minutes and next you have warm juice. The pastry was home made and delicious. Scrambled eggs totally dry but the omelet was luckily eatable. Bacon was ok. Small sausages very good.

I have booked this hotel for 6+1 days and I enjoyed the stay. Location is excellent and you can see old town with lot of restaurant options. Room was good and staff is very helpful. The only thing that they have to work on is breakfast. Or you can try not to pay breakfast and just outside there is McDonald's. Otherwise I recommend this hotel to stay. All the best!!

Just back from this hotel and was pleased with everything. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a ferry to Helsinki booked early one morning the staff were more than happy to book us a taxi to the terminal and set up a wake up call for us. Whilst the decor in the rooms and the halls was maybe a little dated it was still a nice place to stay and we certainly got what we paid for. Best of all this hotel is in an amazing location, right in Old Town so you have access to great restaurants and museums.

Very poor customer service - both at reception and in the breakfast room. Nobody cared we were there. 2 low beds pushed together - on last day checking to see nothing had rolled under the bed I saw the beds were CAMP BEDS and a plaster was stuck UNDERNEATH on the carpet. Poor fare at breakfast. Definitely NOT 4 Star! So all about location. Would we stay there again? Definitely NOT!
