Our massive historical limestone walls conceal 53 spacious and well lit guestrooms with high ceilings and beautiful large windows. There are special rooms for people with allergies as well as those who prefer to travel with their beloved pets. Families are accommodated in very spacious family rooms which fit both extra beds for older children and baby cots. There is a mini-bar in the room at your service and wireless internet covering the entire hotel. We also have a guest computer at the reception if needed. Private parking area is available for extra cost for hotel guests who are traveling by car or plan to rent a car on site. We welcome you to our German-style restaurant Baieri Kelder, where we also have two chambers for business after-hours or private gatherings. We loved staying here. The hotel has a charm that added to our visit to Tallinn with a great location. We were with a group of 12 and we all had a good experience. The rooms were clean and we received housekeeping daily. The breakfast buffet was good - lots of variety. The staff working breakfast was very courteous and made sure we had what we needed. Nadia was the best in taking care of us. We had an early morning flight when leaving and they gave us breakfast bags the night before. We wanted a kettle in our room and when we asked the front desk, they made sure we got one. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A tip I read about and used was - roll up your bath mat and place in front of the shower door to avoid the floor getting all wet. It worked great! Thank you to who posted that previously. We hope to come back to Tallinn and will definitely stay her again!

From beginning to end, our stay at the St. Barbara was excellent. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and quiet. The included breakfasts were excellent and delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel for either business or a good/economical place to stay on vacation in Tallinn.

Hotel St. Barbara is in an excellent position, very close to downtown. Our room was nice and clean and breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and free parking, which is not for granted considering the proximity to the city centre, an additional benefit. Recommended.

Hotel is well-located a 5-10 minute stroll from the old town, and near bus stops providing ease of access to the airport, bus and rail stations, and the ferry port. Our decent sized room was comfortable and adequately furnished along with a spacious bathroom. Fridge and mini-bar are available but no coffee making facility. Buffet breakfast provided a wide range of hot and cold items that changed daily. All considered, the hotel represents a good value, accessible choice for visiting and exploring the city.

Stayed at the hotel, as very central, and great for a flat walk to the Christmas Market in Town Hall Square. Flight arrival was late in the evening, after Reception closed. My taxi driver kindly called the hotel, and my key was in an outside drop box. At nearly midnight, it was a slightly frightening experience. Found out next day, sms had been sent with instructions - trouble was it was to a mobile number nothing like mine! I could see the funny side the next day but, without the taxi driver I'd have been panic stricken! That was the last problem of my weeks holiday! All the staff in the hotel were delightful, ready to help, and answer questions. One lady at Reception ordered me in some evening food on her own phone, and I paid cash to her. Another of the Reception ladies brought me a kettle, tea bags, and milk, as it's not provided in the rooms. There's a small fridge though. The drinks machine in Reception doesn't always give out the drink ordered! Room was very comfortable, large, airy, well-lit, lovely calming, cream and gold decor, and spotlessly clean. Very quiet too, with opening window onto the quiet courtyard. Shower room tip - to avoid flooding the floor fold the bath mat at the bottom of the sliding door, which stops the water, and dries quickly on the heated bathroom floor. Really enjoyed the breakfasts, with a very good selection of options, which changed regularly. Breakfast staff very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One small issue is that the there isn't a lift, until you get up a flight of stairs to Reception. After that, the elevator goes to all floors, including the basement for breakfast room. Potentially, not good for disabled travellers. All in all, one of the nicest, friendliest small hotels I've stayed in, and those small issues certainly wouldn't put me off staying at Hotel St Barbara again. Thank you to everyone there.

Very good hotel near city centre. Staff cleans up the room every day. Bed is very comfortable and I couldn’t imagine better room for my trip. Maybe a disadvantage is late breakfast on weekends which left me with no choice but to skip sandwich on Saturday as I had a ferry to Helsinki. Apart from that perfect!

Nice and clean room. Only 10 minutes to old town. Near reception there is hot and cold drink vending machine. 5 minutes walk to convenience store. Add mark for the shower since it is very powerful and the water temperature is good. The room's window can be opened too.

Stayed here before so had no worries about a second visit. The rooms are big and comfortable. Using the shower means the whole bathroom gets flooded (happened last time too). But the last time we stayed there was coffee making facilities in the room, not any more! Also i don't know why Estonian hotel breakfasts are always chaotic! We had to stand for 20 minutes before we could get a table.
