Where shall we begin. My wife and i were looking forward to a nice getaway from Riga and to take the opportunity of what we hoped would be a good well priced hotel and spa. Boy were we in for a nasty surprise. Upon arriving, and parking in front of the hotel, made me have flashbacks to the soviet union and bread lines. However, we decided not to let the outside look deter us and to give the hotel a try. We walk in, and found a giant awkward lobby with poor lighting and dirty stained floors, that was empty of people with the exception of the two staff who quickly provided us room keys (only good part of the trip). We continue to the long trek to our seaside room, through long dark corridors with disgusting dirty carpets - overall making you feel like your in a scene in the movie of "the Shinning". When we do finally manage to find our room, the room had a pleasant view of the sea - this was the only nice feature. The bed was sad, with two small pillows that looked like they too were remnants of the Cold War. There was one, thin blanket at the end of the bed - making you wonder if the staff got their hospitality training in the Gulag. There was a very sad lonely chair in the corner of the room, with no further decorations. Non of the wall plugs worked. The bathroom was moldy with a random cheap pipe that dumped water from the sink to a drainage hole in the floor. The balcony didnt seem to have been cleaned in years. My wife found hairs on the bed and pillow, which did not belong to us. This was enough to force my wife and I to rethink staying at this hotel and immediately checked out. This made us quickly realize that the rooms dont get properly cleaned, nor disinfected - a very important part of hospitality during the COVID epidemic. When I told the staff about what we found and our observations, they refused to refund us and said they could only upgrade us - however we had seen enough and didnt want another trip back to 80's. I would strongly advise anyone with any sort of standards to avoid this hotel, and spend their money elsewhere. However, if a trip down memory lane to the golden days of the Soviet Union and its low expectation of hospitality is what you desire - then this is the place for you.…
I not like that waiter does not clean the lunch table. There is mold in the shower, but everything more is good. Very nice and kind hotel administrators. Breakfast very tasty and great choice. Good value for money.
Sea view (which we got as a free upgrade) was really good, sea is very close and view is wide. Superb breakfast. Nutella and icecream for breakfast! Very good value for the money. Close to the beach. Uber costs aroud 6 euros to old town.
In the center of Pirita area, close to Marina and beach and just 20 mins by bus to Old Tallin. Service and wellness center are very good. Seaview room wasn't so cozy as garden view room and bedding is not so good. But the hotel is welcoming pets. so we spend several nice days with the whole family, enjoying Baltic fresh air and crazy sunsets.
This hotel is a very popular hotel. Many people like to visit it. It situates near the sea and is very cheap hotel.Food is excellent and also Spa is nice. Every room has balcony. In our room was not refrigerator but we did not even need it because we ate in hotel restaurant. We were very satisfied with this hotel.
