Nothel is a hotel that is a little bit too cosy to call itself a hotel. That’s why we named it Nothel. Nothel has kept the reliability of a hotel and has thrown away everything unnecessary. Our rooms are designed not only for sleeping, but also for living, working and daydreaming. Nothel feels like home. Maybe not yours, but someone else’s. Nothel is smart, but not smarter than your smartphone. We want to give everybody to give a smooth and sweet experience. That’s why Nothel is capable of operating fully digitally. Log in, instead of check in. Open door with your smartphone and so on. It’s not futuristic, because you’re fully smart already. It’s just keeping up with You. There’s no place like home. But Nothel is a close runner-up.

Terrible start to my stay. All for technology but there does need to be a fail safe. The hotel offers digital check-in, but none of the emails with the entry details were arriving in my box. A clear technological issue, which isn’t helped with no-one on site, an unhelpful person on the end of the intercom who let me in the building but not my room. Then tried to call, was told someone would call me back. Stood waiting for 25 minutes. In the end went to a cafe and got a message back via online chat - and a response telling me they I must be mistaken as there are three unread emails in my box, which I assure you would not have had me standing outside. Finally got in and found the bathroom of my room smells of sewage.

Dear James, I´m truly sorry about your negative experience. Unfortunately we did have some system error with the code that was solved immediately. I have also asked our maintenance and housekeeping to check the situation with the sewage smell. Once again I´m sorry your stay was a disappointment. Best regards, Maarja-Liis Toomik Nothel Manager

Hassle-free check-in and check-out. Our XL room was clean and comfy. A bit different layout from the photos on the web but functionally equal. Quiet both in terms of street noise (we were on the back side of the building) and ventilation (the heating is with radiators, so there is no ventilator noise). I liked the long blanket (about 220 cm). Some minor nuisances, too. Increasing the heat was slow: it was 20,5 °C when we arrived, we set it higher and it took 12 h to get to 21,5 °C. The bathroom light is driven by motion detector with no way to keep it off, so when you go to the toilet at night, you get blasted by bright lights - they should add a way to disable the lights via a switch. Also, we got a false fire alarm once - it is a common problem in new buildings, so it will likely not happen after the first few months.

Dear Koit, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback! We are sincerely happy to hear you liked the room and the quietness, we like it too :) I will give your feedback about the temperature and lights to our maintenance department. The safety of our guests is really important to us and I am sorry you had the false alarm going off. It was related to heavy cooking in one of the rooms. We have re-adjusted the sensors so they would not react for cooking and to avoid such cases in the future. We hope to see you again in Nothel soon! Best regards, Maarja-Liis Toomik Nothel Manager

Perfect location, right in the city centre. It was new to me to “chek in” without the receptionist, but all went smoothly. It was really easy :) I enjoyed the cozy interior. Would love to go back some day.

Visited Tallinn with my girlfriend for weekend to enjoy old town and nightlife. We choose this hotel for perfect location and we liked the room's pictures. For our big surprise hotel was brand new, clean and very-very cozy and it already made our day! All the booking and check-in procedure was completely different that i'm used to. It was very easy, fast and modern! Wish that more hotels have similar check-in options. When we got to the room then first thing what i really liked was the smell of natural wood. In our room there was lot of natural oak used in interior design elements and it looked and smelled good :) Overall interior was very modern mixed with natural wood and natural stone. Just as i like it. Also bathroom was very beautiful. Made me thought to start renovate my home also. Xtra point's for very comfortable bed! Room had everything to make you feel like home. Location was also perfect. To old town 2 min walk, 24h grocery store 1min walk. We will definitely visit again!
