We arrived in the afternoon from the airport. The room we got was very very small, more like a single room than a double room. No handsoap and the drain in the shower didn't work. The breakfast buffet was basically OK, but too many people on too little space. The Courtyard is a very cosy place. The staff didn't seem very satisfied with their job, looked like the wanted to be somewhere else.
Beds were too soft and, therefore, uncomfortable. Since we were on the 1st floor, the windows couldn’t be fully open to let in enough fresh air, ad a result of which it was too stuffy in the room. The breakfast was excellent.
I loved the atmosphare and the zen spa facial treatment was money WELL spent. However i was disappointed that there was no vegan options of any kind at the breakfast. The waiter just adviced to take the veggies when i asked for some vegan proteins/options. Felt like i was back in the 90's.
The hotel was nice and rooms were clean and beautiful but it was really hard to get a service because of lack of staff. There was only one person at the counter and she was really busy all the time. She never pick up the phone when we tried to call to reception. And we (and also many others) waited almost 2h in check-in queue. And they dont allow early check-in’s, you have to wait for 3pm. It was a rule.
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Easy walk around Old Town, Telliskivi, and more. Some great food options close by. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good, a nice variety of food options.
Historical building created great possibilities for a lovely stay. Rooms were a bit small and basic but clean. Facilities were a bit plain and could have been more comfortable but the historical building itself and its courtyard was beautiful. There was not enough food or tables or table ware for all quests on breakfast. Staff was friendly and nice and did try their best.
Short stay in estonia. Lovely place to stay in Tallinn. Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Nice location near the old part of the city. Hotel was beautiful and we had such a lovely stay in there. Highly recommended!
Service oriented staff, I had made a mistake on my reservation and they corrected it. Good breakfast, with a very nice assortment, good bread, good variety of fish, of cheese, pleasant and helping staff, the only thing missing was fresh orange juice. The terrace is really enjoyable. And the common living room with a piano and its bookshelves and thick walls surrounded by thick curtains give the feeling of being in a castle.
Nice hotel in historic old building, near the Old town. Relaxing but small spa area to be additionally payed. Breakfast is not on the level expected, they serve old bread, food gets spent and new is not available, very average breakfast experience for this hotel level. For the room proce we expected more. You can find better hotel in Tallinn for the same price.
Hotel was very good. We slept Zen room. It was perfekt and silence. At breakfast, many things were over, like porridge and croissants. We came to eat 1.5 hours before closing. We were not given a welcome sparkling wine on our own initiative and were not offered an hour's free spa, although these were included in the room rate. we got them by asking. Children were not taken into account in the initial cups.
