Spent there one night on the way to the Estonian country side, the room was good though at the ground level the noise of cars could be heard. The location is excellent as it is a short walk to the old town. It is the annex of a more luxurious hotel next door.

Thank you for your feedback. For the future bookings, please be informed that courtyard rooms can be also booked advance. Or upon availability, street side room can be changed during check in. More

Starting with the best: Location is great. Right at the footstep of Toompea Hill and Old Town, everything in Tallinn is easily reached by walking. Also you are very close to Kalamaja, my favorite part of town. The room itself is average with 2 major bad things: - Ground floor and right at the very busy main street without noise... More

Thank you for the feedback. City Hotel Tallinn is located in some minutes from the Old Town. Rooms are street side and courtyard rooms. When booking a room, client is choosing one of the options: booking a courtyard side or street side room. That is why we have devided the room categories, so the client is already informed what kind... More

Worst hotel room ever! the room smelled like mold and drains. The worker did not believe that I had already paid for the room and claimed that my credit card was not covered even though I looked like online bank that my account was debited from the sum of long ago. The worker did not believe that the room was... More

Overall I have to say it is ok for money, but as we were with our half a year old son room was too noisy even at night. Location is realy good, just 5 minute walk from Old Town, Rooms were medium size ok for 2+1 and was clean but bathroom had bad smell. Resume: good if you are on... More

Stayed here for one night recently as our hotel had messed up our booking. The hotel is modern if pretty anonymous. Our room was decent enough, good size, and clean with twin bed's which were a bit soft for my liking. The room was quiet as we were housed at the back and the bathroom was an extraordinary green colour... More

This is really an unmanned budget extension of the Von Stackelberg Palace Hotel. In fact, you'll need to tell your taxi driver to take you to the Von Stackelberg because he won't know City Hotel. You'll check in at the Von Stackelberg and then they'll send you a couple of buildings down the street to your room. I have a... More

I booked two rooms and our room (room 2) was big compared to our friends (room 8)- we were lucky as we got the only big room at the front (totally recommend that you ask for this). I am a heavy sleeper but my friends find it too noisy and their room smelt of smoke the whole time - hotel... More

The hotel is more in between of whether it should be called a hotel or a hostel. It provides very comfortable beds, clean rooms with full en-suite bathrooms and TV. There is also a possibility to book the spa treatments from the hotel next door. All these surely speak for the hotel but the lounge with the coffee and tea... More

As an annex to the von Stackelberg palace, the City Hotel Tallinn delivers a lot more than its 2-star rating and low price promise. Large comfortable rooms with full ensuite bathrooms, extremely clean. Its location is very convenient, about 500m walking through a park to the Toompea citadel. Only drawbacks: rooms on the busy boulevard can be a bit noisy... More

I stayed at this hotel for the England football match that was on in the city. Great location for hotel. Only a few mins walk from the centre (uphill) Hotel was basic, but clean. Everything we needed was here. Lots of bars and restaurants are mins away
