I had booked the double room with sofa and spa access. It included breakfast, bath robes and a sea view. On the spot we had to pay €3 for 2 pairs of slippers as they are only included when you book one of their suites.

I had read some reviews and didn't expect much for the price that I had paid. However, we were very pleasantly surprised.

Checking in was a breeze and we got a room on the 2nd floor. We went to our room to drop off our stuff. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. We were treated to a wonderful sunset from our hotel room window.

Some customers had commented on the spa being small but I found it more than adequate. I especially enjoyed the Finnish and steam saunas and the cold water barrel. However, I was missing a bar offering drinks and a Japanese hot pool that many spas have.

The gym was well equipped but the equipment rather old.

The breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of warm foods on offer.

All in all I enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again.

Room cleaning is zero. At the end of our 4th day we had a hill of sand in the corner of our room. No classes cleaned or anything but just new towels. When I booked I asked for double git a twin they just tied the two bed together but the space was still there. If you are vegan or even vegetarian the breakfast can be challenging. Other than that. Good location near the beach.

My partner and I booked for a 2 night stay, last minute. Hotel staff friendly , free parking, check in quick. 30 min walk to beach and town. Never used spa always looked too busy. Room was spacious and clean, shower room was basic. Breakfast ok, very busy area, staff were helpful though, replenishing food which is just as well because I Seen some guests take full advantageous this storing plates of pancakes, fruits, breads and sausages on their tables for the rest of their day , never before have I seen guests use shower caps to fill with food and take away , maybe it’s a normal thing in Estonia 🤷🏻‍♀️. Overall staff made stay good. Hotel pretty average.

Hello! Thank you very much for choosing Strand SPA & Conference Hotel and taking time sharing your feedback. We appreciate your kind words about our staff! It's nice to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast and were satisfied with your room! This is the first time we hear about our customers using shower caps to fill with food, this is definitely not an acceptable thing to do! We even have signs up at our breakfast area that the food is only for consuming on-site and not for taking with you. Thank you for pointing out the problem! Next time feel free to inform our staff right away, we would be thankful! Hopefully we will have a chance to welcome you again one day, you are always welcome back!

Don’t let the affordable prices fool you if you want to enjoy an actual spa experience. We were disappointed to find out there was no services in the spa area and that the spa was probably not ever refurbished since the building was erected. The spa as well as the whole hotel including the room was very rundown. We wanted a nice experience for our holiday and decided to book a junior suite. What a disappointment - uncomfortable bed and small sofa, very bare and clinical look and feel to the whole room and even water damage in the bathroom ceiling. We woke up at night hearing a big thump as the air vent dropped down from the ceiling on its own. As we went out we wanted to complain about the vent but as always the cue to the ONE staff member at the reception was way too long (and they did not answer the phone) we thought at least the cleaning lady would alert the tech staff to fix the vent that was laying on the floor of the bathroom... but no. We gave up and nothing was done about the vent for three last days of our stay. We stayed out of the hotel as much as we could. Luckily plenty of great restaurants, old town and beach activities in Pärnu.

The location is not ideal if you don’t have a car. The walk to the main beach and center is around 30min. Though the Bolt scooters help the journey if you can find them available (which is not easy most times).

Price is cheap compared to other spa hotels - but as said, NOT worth it. Even upgrading to a suite - NOT worth it. We stayed for five days and were able to cope with the spa for 30min for a try. Don’t ruin your Pärnu experience by staying at this hotel.

Hello! Thank you very much for taking time and leaving your feedback. We are truly sorry for the inconveniences during your recent stay with us and for being a massive disappointment! True, our spa is pretty small and a bit outdated. We still hope that our guests find a way to relax and enjoy the water. Also, we are looking forward to spa renovations as soon as possible. We have also reviewed the air vent situation with our team and admit that the housekeeping should have forwarded the information to our maintenance right away. We have made necessary learning from this! Once again, kindly accept our apologies. Hopefully your next visit to Pärnu will be much more enjoyable!

Hotel is advertising with four stars but better is 3 or two and half. Kettle or hairdryer does not make it as four star if service and other facilities are suitable for 2 star hotel. Hotel does not care about Covid19 rules: spa is full of people (40 or more) even if pools and Jacuzzis are for 10 in total. Breakfast is full of people so impossible to have 2 meter distances. Cleaning for the rooms is not done well, I had junior suite and upstairs bathroom was not cleaned once at all during my three day stay. There are also rats next to spa terrace area running around. Breakfast is modest, nothing extra. Service in reception is not on western level, place has too much Russian and sovjet feeling in it with all it means. Did not use restaurant at all. Rooms are also worn out a bit and in pictures they look too much better.
I would not recommend hotel to western people, good for baltians but not for others.

Hello! Thank you for visiting us and taking time leaving your feedback. We are truly sorry for being a massive disappointment! Please accept our apologies for all the inconveniences during your stay. Unclean rooms are definitely not acceptable, we have forwarded this information to our housekeeping so they can make necessary learning from it. Thank you for mentioning the rats - we are aware of the problem and taking care of it. Unfortunately some uninvited visitors are inevitable due to the fact that we have so much greenery and nature around the hotel. Of course it is unpleasant and we apologize for that! Our hotel is built in the 1980s, but over the years, the hotel has been constantly updated and modernised. We will keep doing that step by step, according to opportunity and need. Once again, we are sorry that your experience fell short of expectation. Hopefully your next stay in Pärnu will be much more enjoyable.

The hotel has potential but the service is really bad.. The staff seems annoyed and there is not welcome feeling. They don't clean the rooms without you putting the sign on the door, that room needs cleaning. We wanted to change the towels, so they took them from the floor but didn't bring new ones. The breakfast is ok, but service there is amateur. The waiting staff wait on the line to fill coffee beans/juice, so that people get only water from the machine.. The spa is nice.

You need to be careful in the spa of the hotel because the trapdoors are open and I managed to fall very unluckily and break my toe. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was very unfriendly and there was no basic first aid in the form of a cold pack or ice. Informing the staff was of no use as the lid later repeatedly floated next to the pool. The hotel manager's "excuse/solution" for causing a broken bone - come and "swim" with us again next time you end up in Pärnu. Also, the room was booked for four people, but towels and bed linen were only for two people in the room, and two people had to ask for them separately from the reception.

The hotel was a big disappoint. The room was small and a little bit dirty especially the bathroom. The bathroom severs were partially blocked.
The worst thing was that there was an indecently dressed pregnant women parading around during breakfasts. It was disgusting.
The spa was full of families and small children jumping to baths and screaming.
The weather was terrible: the wind was so strong that swimming was not allowed at sea (red flag) .
If you don't have a big family with small children, choose another hotel.
The breakfast and the dinner were very good and waiters were very polite.

The hotel is a bit wornout to be honest. The narrow stone staircases, tiny elevators and a gym that is from the Soviet area.
The airconditioning in our room was not working properly either so we had to sleep with our window fully open which let us hear everything from our neighbors unfortunately. The room itself does not really stand up to the standards of a nowadays resort hotel.
The location is good though, if you want to be near the beach but away from all the loud nightlife. only a few minute walk to the beach and a nice nature trail right behind the hotel!

Family of four visiting Parnu for the first time, excited to play and also relax.
The beach is amazing, no doubt. But this hotel drained our energy with bad service.
Our air conditioner was somewhat broken, either being fully broke or blowing hot air in already warm room of 27 degrees.
We went 5 times to complain and ask for help.
After the 3rd time we asked to change rooms which was not possible. The staff did nothing to try to help us. I really don’t want to spend my holidays speaking with the front desk so many times.
The beds were hard and uncomfortable.
The room did not have any balconies.
The room was not soundproof, we could everyone from the corridors and the next rooms.
The breakfast buffet was really crowded. Hard to find seats and always a long line of people to pour water into their glasses.

Overall, don’t recommend.
