Really good experience. Price range and food quality is excellent. I had onion soup and I have to admit that it was the best I ever had. Salmon terrine and baltic herring as a first course was excellent choice.

A great hotel in a beautiful location. Perfect spot next to large lake. Great roads for going cycling, running and walking with plenty of forests all around.
Rooms are stylish, large with all modern comforts. Room we stayed in had a large balcony to just relax. Attached to the hotel is a very good restaurant which I would also recommend.
Everything about the hotel is great and I would not hesitate to return again!

Response from GMPClubhotel, Manager at GMP Clubhotel
Responded Oct 26, 2017
Dear, Adam! Thank you for the nice feedback. Otepää is great location to do sports and enjoy hiking. GMP Clubhotel is in the middle spot. You can go swimming to the lake in summer time, enjoy skiing in winter time and enjoy colorful nature in autumn. Just step out of our hotel and you can do everything :) See you again! It was our first visit to GMP. Hotel is located in a beautiful place.
It's 5 or 6 floor modern building.
On the top floor there are two saunas (no pools). Towels are available. It is possible to go out to the balcony and that is very nice. :) We enjoyed our time in sauna a lot.
Our room was nice and big. Modern design. There was everything you may need in the room. Even dish washer. Pans, dishes, coffee machine, kettle, sugar etc We didn't use all of these as we dined out.
It was a bit cool in the room (in April).
There is a very nice gym in the hotel for those who love to exercise.
Friendly helpful and young staff.
All in all we enjoyed our stay.
Thank you GMP!

Cozy and quiet place by the Pühajärve lake. The 2 room apartment we had was very clean, spacious, equipped with kitchen allowing us to cook, tee and coffee are available as well. Also designed in style which makes it an esthetic pleasure to stay there. There's a great terrace on the 8th floor. But above all was the attention and helpfulness of the girl at reception, named Pisar. She was very kind and we were even allowed to leave our bags in the room even after checking out as our bus back to Tartu was later in the day and we could walk around a bit more. It's more of a luxury leasure time but why not once in a while? I'd be happy to visit this place again.

The location of this hotel is wonderful and the rooms are large and spacious in comparison to most hotels. It is extremely comfortable, exceptionally clean and the staff is fantastic. Everything is taken care of with a smile. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting even neighbouring places.

We stayed here for 4 days and we're pleased with great hospitality and service. Hotel is located just near the lake. Our room was on the first floor and was equipped with sauna, washing machine and small kitchen. Breakfasts were good, but we were really exited with dinners. Restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

We've been to most places in Otepaa, and this is by far the best we have found. This is an apartment hotel, so you get 2 rooms, one a bedroom and one a living room with a kitchenette. So, right away the negatives - there is no maid service or breakfast included. The positives are that the rooms and the hotel itself are all new, in excellent repair, and are clean. You have everything you need including a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, cutlery, dishes, microwave, hair dryer, tea kettle, coffee pot, and a large clothing dryer, which is great after skiing. There is plenty of space, hard wood floors, a modern bathroom with a great shower, and good layout. The couch can be folded into a bed that will sleep 2 more. The bedroom is pretty spare - there are no dressers or other furniture. But the bed is nice and linen clean and fresh. This hotel is of ski-resort quality, and the amenities here are world-class for an extended ski vacation. There is a gym, and a sauna upstairs. The downstairs restaurant is easily the best restaurant in the vicinity, with great decor and wine selection. The risotto accompanying the duck was one of the best we've had in Estonia, and the house cake was a warm chocolate one - excellent! although the caesar salad we had one night was just ...bad. 2 soups, 2 entrees, 2 coffees and one dessert (no alcohol) ran about 35 euros. Overall though, there is no good food in Otepaa and no nice restaurants. So this was the nicest looking restaurant in town, by far. Re breakfast, if you let the staff know the night before, they can bring you up breakfast the night before and its perfectly fine in the fridge overnight - yogurt, ham & cheese, bread, cucumbers, hardboiled eggs, etc. Great service from the staff, very clean and again, in excellent condition, unlike Bernhard and Karupesa, which were shabby, dusty and Soviet-looking. This place looks like a Scandinavian chain, in a good way, but isn't. We were very happy. A bit more pricey than the rest of the hotels here, but we found it to be worthwhile. Also, unlike other hotels here, the staff regularly (daily) clears the snow so that getting in and out isn't a daily 2 hour ordeal (like Bernhard). Parking is good, and there is a room to store ski equipment overnight. The best place to stay for a ski vacation, we'll be back.

Visited Otepaa to play golf and just booked an overnight stay... did not expect much. But both the town, the hotel, the restaurant - everything exceeded our expectations! Very nice rooms with full kitchen, nice view, excellent breakfast and restaurant, service minded staff! Will definitely return!
