To be honest, the whole situation was hilarious. My husband and I paid just for the mud bath experience: about €50 for us both. For starters, a burly Estonian woman runs the room and mud baths- essentially two large tubs- and barks various things we didn't understand. As she spoke no English and we no Estonian, it was actually pretty... More

There are nice and helpful personal. Clean rooms. Nice place where to eat breakfast and lunch. Minuses- there are not enough information about offers. This is good place for families with children and peoples who want relax. There are many offers for seniors too.

We were a very big group that had told that we would come to buffet at 19.30 but when we got to the hotel they said that the buffet will close at 20. Well it did not matter that we did not have so much time because the food was just horrible. It tasted like nothing and you would have... More

Location nice by the sea and nature, 20 minutes' walking distance from the city. Wooden one store building. Rooms quite small. Ants in the room. Bathroom with shower. Two stamp-sized towels per person (but one bigger towel for the Spa), that is really not enough! Cleaning meant just taking the trash, nothing else, not even the beds were made properly.... More

I didn't expect much after reading the quite poor reviews here, but must say I was very positively surprised. The hotel is a lot bigger than I thought, everything is clean and well kept. We had two rooms, one is smaller but quite comfortable and the other is probably a suite although I didn't notice it in the price. The... More

There's an old part of the hotel and a new part. The photos on the homepage are all from the new part of course. If you book a room, you are not told, which part you are placed in. We went there to celebrate my birthday and after we passed the reception we found ourselves in a soviet time! Literally... More

Pros The location near the seaside, beach and at the edge forest is superb. There are hiking trails for casual stroller and for running in the neighborhood. Spa facilities and rooms are clean and well maintained. The restaurant serves very good quality main courses. If you are visiting outside main summer season then there is nothing to match it in... Fra Mare is situated in a beautiful pine forest near the coast of the Baltic Sea within a short distance of scenic resort town Haapsalu. The premises are quite stylish comfortable, although some rooms could use a little refurbishing. The staff is very friendly and professional. The day spa is lovely with a variety of saunas and indoor and outdoor... More

I was traveling there with my family. Hotel is situated between the sea and Scots pine forest. Parking is available outside for guests. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. Also nice bathroom with shower. What we were missing was availability to make hot tea or coffee in room. SPA was also very nice. Swimming pool with... More
