I am just finishing a 3 night stay at the Moon Garden having travelled to Vilnius with my 5 year old son.
The location of the hotel is great if you want easy access to the old town (which is absolutely lovely by the way). The hotel is clean and the rooms are very homely. The breakfast is a bit basic but totally fine and my son liked it. I liked the staff who work here, they were all really nice to my son and even leant him a sledge so he could have fun on the local snow covered hills. All in all i think it is a great value for money hotel in a good location. If i came back to Vilnius I would stay here. The only downside was there is no lift so if you are staying on the 4th floor there are a few flights of stairs to climb but that was fine for me and my son.

Historic property under renovation Perfect location to visit the old town. Spacious and bright suite. The bathroom deserves an improvement however spacious. I didn't understand the towel change quite randomly. (On arrival a towel from a previous customer was hanging behind the bathroom door and remained there until my departure). Justifiable in part because it remained hidden with the door open.) The make-up of the room only on request I guess. Check-in is automatic and the entrance to the structure after hours is with opening code as for the rooms. New elevator and clean common areas. Friendly but unempathetic staff like Lithuanian tradition. The quiet interior rooms. It could be excellent by taking care of the details described. Excellent in general.

Great location: a Maxima market is across the street, and the Hales Turgus market down the street a few blocks. 10 minute walk to the bus or train station. Within easy walking distance of restaurants and cafes.
The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and made my stay so much more pleasant.
The room has some nice touches: a make-up mirror in the bathroom, kettle and coffee/tea things, big windows. The small refrigerator was nice to have, but noisy. I found the bed to be hard and very uncomfortable. It felt like a box spring foundation, not a mattress. Ask for a room that has a box spring AND a mattress

The hotel is perfectly located. It is 10-minute walking distance from the train and the bus stations. Also, there is a bus stop by the hotel where you can travel to the airport easily. It is also in the historical downtown.
The rooms are very clean. The building is a renovated historical one with nicely decorated rooms. They offer free coffee and tea both in the lobby and in the rooms.
It would be better if a staff stayed in the hotel after eight p.m., though.
Overall, it was a perfect stay for me. Especially, the staff was super-nice.

On a busy road but overlooking grass at back so very quiet. Huge rooms with nice little touches. Breakfast in basement. Nothing special, kept running out of things. Weather was cold and the heating was not working in either of our 2 rooms. Luckily, we were only staying one night. Charming staff. Good location.

Good location and good room , clean. Was advertised as with TV with cable channels but only one international channel. I do not rate it a 4 stars hotel, just average. Breakfast in the basement was average. No bathrobe , no slippers included.

A beautiful little rose boutique hotel in a great location! We chose that as a temporary stop after our flight and before traveling to other city. The room was beautiful!
The downside: most of the time there was nobody at the reception. Also, some guest got extremely drunk and kept wandering around the hotel constantly trying to enter our room (thinking it was their room), pissing in the corridor, shouting, and finally sleeping at the room door/in the hallway. As there was no-one at the reception, no-one took care of that situation and there was no-one to tell the problem.
Despite that the hotel is a gem!

The breakfast was really hearty and original. The restaurant staff works carefully. On the other hand, we have an apartment with an 80s decoration with an old carpet. After a full shower of our daughter, the water is overflowed in the bathroom and in the hallway. The carpet has taken on water and diffuses an unbearable smell. As the day passes, the smell becomes more unbearable. We reported it at the front desk but it doesn't seem to cause them any problem. We are happy to leave this Inn.

We used the hotel transfer. They ordered a taxi for us and you pay the hotel the set fee. I think around 12 euros one way. It took about 20min
The only advantage would be that you will be able to choose the room and floor. Yes the matresses are thin but comfortable. Remember, this is common in Europe.
I'm pretty sure you will, yes
All the rooms are non-smoking as far as I know.
Hello
We got a bus from the airport it's really close and very cheap. Not sure which one, but we arrived really early in the morning and they were running fine, from memory they just had intermittent service on Sunday's. There was a booth at the airport where you can get the bus number and stop to get off. Enjoy!
