Revisited this property again and since 2018, they have maintained their high standards in all areas. From the check-in experience where we received a friendly greeting, cool towels to wipe face and neck from long travel day all topped off with a refreshing welcome beverage. The rooms are well appointed, quiet and have everything one needs. Very comfortable bed, nice blackout curtains and nice spa-like bathroom. The staff at this property were exceptional at each interaction - breakfast, lunch and late night dining. Friendly, prompt, efficient and knowledgeable - attentive without being intrusive. Ruta at the breakfast setting was fantastic in all aspects and encouraged us to dive a little deeper into their menu (the crepes are wonderful). She helped us understand we can order half-portions which was helpful to learn and we took advantage of that. I believe she's the morning manager and it shows in the staff - all were exceptionally pleasant to interact with. The food is wonderful - whether it's the very well stocked breakfast (fresh juices, local meats/cheeses, ala carte items, etc) and all very tasty. The burgers at lunch and late night are some of the best in town. All of the bartending staff we interacted with with very knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent somm on staff as well. We look very forward to staying at this property again in the future. The location, interior surroundings and staff are all top-notch.

The whole experience was absolutely perfect but the one area that, I feel, is outstanding and which sets Grand Hotel Kempinski, Vilnius, apart from other hotels is the service. From checking-in until leaving, the staff were uniformly professional and so helpful, as well speaking excellent English (thank you!). Particular mention has to go to the concierge for doing exactly what a concierge is supposed to do but which, so often, is not done these days. The Ladies in Red (what a great concept!) were the consummate professionals, welcoming, eager to listen and so helpful with their great advice in getting us what we wanted rather than pushing local favourites. They were superb and a real credit to the hotel. The other stand out area for us was the dining room. Breakfast was exceptional and we loved the idea of the lazy breakfast at the weekend (served until 1400 hrs), of which we managed to take advantage on one of the mornings. The choice and quality was first class and I still cannot forget those divine Lithuanian eggs! The waiting staff were the epitome of the Kempinski professionalism and were spot on. Two waiters in particular served us and, on the four mornings that we had breakfast, nothing was too much trouble for them. We also liked that they showed some interest in us and took time to speak to us each morning. Again, superb and such a credit to the hotel. I cannot fault our stay in any way and cannot identify any area where improvement is required. Each and every member of staff that we encountered ensured that we were taken care of and, importantly, they did so with a smile. Praise must also go to whoever is responsible for training. The staff were a young bunch but so enthusiastic and amazingly professional. To have achieved such a consistent standard is a great tribute to the hotel. Finally, thank you for such a wonderful first stay in your wonderful city.

The hotel was brilliant from the moment we arrived and we absolutely loved our stay here. Located approximately 15 mins from the airport by taxi, the hotel is located right in front of the cathedral and within easy walking distance of all the main city sights. We were greeted with a drink and shown to our room. The room was a good size with a great view of the cathedral. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in our rate which was a real treat. The buffet had a great selection of cold meats, fish, cheeses along with hot choices, cereals and fruit. There was also a menu to order from which was a selection of egg dishes, sweet dishes and caviar at an extra cost. The service in breakfast was so good and the view of the cathedral square was beautiful. We used the pool and sauna on a couple of occasions and were really impressed. The pool is a good size and sauna is really big compared to many hotels that we’ve visited. There was also a steam room and jacuzzi. All in all the hotel was beautiful but that coupled with the friendly and helpful staff, made our stay all the more enjoyable.
