DOMUS MARIA hotel is situated in the very heart of Vilnius Old Town, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel is set in a former Carmelites’ monastery, built in the 17th century. It is surrounded with the major pilgrimage and cultural sites, such as the Gate of Dawn with miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, a number of Western and Eastern Catholic and Orthodox churches and monasteries, the City Hall and the National Philharmonic Society. Thanks to unique location the hotel features both peaceful comfort within its historic walls and extensive choice of cultural and culinary activities just around the corner. Former monastery cells are now converted into 48 modernly equipped rooms. Guests can choose from standard single, double, triple, quadruple or superior single or double rooms. A generous breakfast is served in a former monks’ dining room. Authentic vaulted halls of Domus Maria are perfect for meetings and events.

Very good central location. Quiet hotel. Reception staff was very helpful. Backyard parking available. Breakfast could be better. Good clean rooms. We have stayed in room for 4 persons and this is perfect for families.

Domus Maria features a very convenient location in a historic building. It is welcoming, warm and clean. The check-in desk is staffed 24/7. I was upgraded to a nice double room with desk, chair, coffee facilities and nice views of the city from the dormer windows. The heat worked well and the hot water pressure was strong. The elevator worked well. I’d certainly return here.

I had the best time with my one night stay at the hotel. Fantastic location in Old Town! Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Staff were great too!! Just a fun place to stay. Highly recommended while in Vilnius.

we stayed at Domus Maria for 3 nights, its right in the old town, but so quiet, which is great. our room was really comfortable, you could really imagine how it use to be, when it was a monastery, the building is lovely. We had breakfast on one day, bit of an odd system, you order the day before, and pick it up from reception, the pastries were nice, but just as easy to go out for breakfast and probably cheaper too. the parking on site is really useful. Overall a good city hotel and very reasonably priced.

Very convenient location, nice service at this quiet guesthouse in a former monastery. The room was clean and comfortable. You could pre-select breakfast options and then pick it up from reception and eat it in the dining hall. Almost just next to the Gate of Dawn, and everything in the Old Town is a short walk away but it’s a very quiet spot. Recommended!

The staff is very friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect, just beside the Gates of Dawn. The breakfast didn't contain a lot, but was very fresh and tasty. They also have a luggage room, which was very convenient in our case. Surely recommended.

Very quiet hotel in a nice area. The service is good, the staff is polite and helpful, the room is clean. You can walk to the train and bus station (it's less than 1 km away). There are so many places to eat or just have a coffee.

The positives are that the room was clean and comfortable enough. But there wasn't a single amenity beyond the most basic and nothing that even approached luxury. Thin bath towels, no body lotion in the bathroom., etc. No mini-fridge in the room. The breakfast was a big disappointment. You had to pre-order the day before and you got a sad-sack bagged breakfast, with very few options. The coffee in the coffee machine was not good. The staff were decent but nothing noteworthy. You even had to remember to hang a card on your door saying that you wanted your room cleaned, rather than the opposite that is found in every other hotel I've ever stayed at, where they assume you want your room cleaned unless you specifically hang the card saying that you don't. I wouldn’t go back.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the very well situated Domus Maria. I would describe it as being a no frills, practical, and spotlessly clean hotel, with friendly helpful staff, offering great value for money comfortable accommodation. We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor which although visually attractive with good views from the skylights, are impractical for tall people due to the sloping ceiling presenting the danger of banging your head on the stonework. A little dissapointing not to have any English speaking TV channels on the bedroom telly. A others have mentioned the picnic style breakfast is a bit odd and basic, especially when you get a curried chicken filled croissant as an option, but as light eaters at breakfast it wasn't an issue for us. Overall this hotel is fantastic value ( we paid £ 55 per room/night) and is only a 5Euro - 11 minutes Bolt taxi ride from the airport. Highly Recommended

Nice hotel in just the right area near all things to visit, staff are superb wil do anything for you, room was comfy just what we wanted but indeed of a fridge, breakfast you ordered at reception from a very limited menu, picked up in the morning in a bag and headed off to a nice cafe area, 2 coffee machines, and so many sorts of tea, but strangely no milk, no salt, no pepper, or any sauce of any kind just a jug of water, this should be mentioned on the hotels description and is I suspect do to covid, but come on something better could be arranged, I mentioned about salt and milk to staff and was told to go to the shop and I did and brought my own breakfast but as I said lovely hotel
