I came here with a group from the states. This is a wonderful place. The beds were comfortable, and the main rooms add to the ambiance. We enjoyed sitting around at the end of the day and comparing notes. Agota is an excellent host and makes sure the stay is smooth. When I come back to Vilnius, I will stay here.

This place is great for older travelers looking for peace I think, but not so great for younger backpackers. I am the latter. The hotel said I could head straight there at 8am once I arrived for an early check in to my room, but when I arrived I was told there were actually no rooms available, so I rested in the common area. The lady who worked there was very very friendly and helpful. The shower head only comes up to your chest and it was quite hard to have a shower without getting water everywhere. The wifi was strong and reliable. The hotel was quite far up a hill and out of the city - around 30 mins walk, but ubers are about €2-3, so I just did that. The breakfast situation wasn't explained to me so I was not sure what was available or when or how. The place had a very rustic feel to it and was very homely. The bathroom has a washer and drier free to use. It did feel like staying in a house rather than a hotel or hostel.

Thank you for your review. As i said upon your arrival - i am sorry for the fact there was no room, but all rooms where booked late and night and so i didnt call you to inform you that we will not have it ready at 8 am. Generally check in is 14:00 :) If you chose the right road to the B&B you wouldn't have walked up the hill at all and it is only about 2 km away from Cathedral (not out of the city). Out of the city would be 20 kilometres away, not 2 so your review is confusing and not accurate. About the breakfast - you booked the cheapest rate in the hotel with breakfast excluded. Upon your arrival i offered you a free breakfast which you refused. I am not exactly sure what are your reasons for saying that the situation was not explained when it is written very clearly on your reservation - breakfast excluded. The offer for free breakfast was because you seemed exhausted. Interior is modern-rustic :)

My room was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom, a table with chair, a television with extended cable and excellent WiFi signal. The location is in a green area and only 25 minutes walk to the Old City or Center and 15 minutes from grocery which makes it interesting specially if you stay long term like me. I was there 1 full month and enjoyed very much my stay.
