I visited Congress Avenue hotel with my family and we stayed for one night. The location cannot be more central and we were surprised the quote we got for the family room. The room itself was large, clean and modern and despite the location very quiet. Breakfast buffet had a good variety and everything was very tasty. As we arrived by car, we also needed parking which is priced separately. The parking lot itself is behind the building (with a direct access to the lobby) but as we arrived late, there were no hotel places available so we parked to the next open space. When we asked about it from the receptionist, she said it was fine as it was Saturday night and nobody was parking there tomorrow anyway (these free slots belonged to the companies' from surrounding buildings). So the parking might be an issue during the working days as there are less than 10 spaces reserved for the hotel and you can't park anywhere on the street near the hotel. The receptionist in general could have been more enthusiastic and friendly but it was already really late (almost midnight) so not a real issue actually. So all in all a great stay for us and definitely a very recommendable hotel in Vilnius if you want to stay close to the heart of the city and the old town.

We hadn’t booked in advance and came late; hotel was locked with no employees. But we called the number shown on the entrance door, talked to the hotel employee and were allowed to come in and get the room keys. Hotel is very modern, looks luxury, there are all the things you need in the bathroom. Hotel is in the heart of Vilnius, Gedimino str. Bars, shopping centers, tourist attractions, public transport are just around the corner. In the morning we were serviced by a polite receptionist. I would recommend this hotel and come back again for sure.

I requested a particular room, a superior double with balcony & separate bath and shower. I got it! Only one negative so let’s get that out of the way first: the view from the balcony is of a similar balcony opposite, not as the pictures on Booking.com suggest, where a view of the cathedral is shown. Putting this minor glitch aside I was extremely happy with my room. The bottle of Cremant I ordered from the EXTREMELY attentive reception staff on Booking.com was delivered to the room upon arrival. The room was huge, clean, well equipped and quiet. The main historical sites are within a 10 minute walk, as are many restaurants. For a bit of grocery shopping the rimi express supermarket is two doors down. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and all staff I engaged were friendly. Rooms and common areas were clean, modern and well maintained. I will return to this lovely hotel in this amazing city.

So I have not even seen my room yet because I have arrived early, but I think I can give my assessment. I ordered an airport transfer with the hotel and was quoted a set price of €20. I can’t tell you how much drama agreeing to this airport transfer caused. As they said, the driver was waiting for me in the hall with my name. But when I got in the car he informed me that there was no set price and that it would be on a meter. So I called the hotel and they assured me that it should’ve been a set price. They were going to call the company to straighten it out. But by the time I arrived at the hotel, I hadn’t heard any information. I ended up just paying him. Now on the metered fair, it came out to €28 instead of €20. It’s not that the money was so crazy. But just as a comparison, if I had ordered an Uber, I would’ve paid €10. What I didn’t like is that the hotel did not do anything to compensate for this discrepancy. Instead they told me that as of that morning, there was a new set price of €27. Which cannot possibly be true because the driver did not tell me there was a set price of €27, he put it on a meter and it so happened that it came out to €27. Above all, I think people want to feel that they are dealing with an honest hotel. And here, I can already say that this does not appear to be an honest hotel. Even if something had happened to the price, as a courtesy they could’ve offered me a free cup of coffee and I would’ve let it go. The only reason I have given it two stars is that the price of the hotel is cheap. I am hoping that the room is at least decent. If it is not, then I would give the place zero stars and will be downgrading this review even more.

We have just stayed at the Congress for 4 days. An excellent hotel. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Very welcoming. The room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel, a massive shower and a well stocked minibar. We didn't use it, but very rare these days. One point to be aware of is that there are no USB sockets either in the room or in the public areas, so bring a 2 pin adaptor. The reception have a load of different types of chargers to lend out, which we needed. The location is ideal, only a 2 minute walk into the main square. Another 5 or 6 six minutes and you're into the Old Town. I think rooms _01 to -09 on each floor look out onto the main street, recommended. It isn't busy or noisy. Great hotel, and would definitely recommend it.

There isn't a hotel with a better location! It was easy to walk to many historic sights. I didn't use a map or GPS but just wandered from the hotel and found many beautiful cathedrals, historic sights, and scenic sights. There is a nice mall and cat cafe directly across the street, the opera is f 4 minute walk, the tour busses are a 4 minute walk away as well. My room was very clean and I didn't feel the need to sanitize it because it was so clean. I loved the modern furnishings and ample lighting in the room. The hotel is also very quiet as they use heavy doors so you don't hear who is in the hallway. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the hotel staff was very nice and helpful, even booking my 4am taxi to the airport. The view from my 4th floor room was beautiful and I moved the chair in the room to the window so that I could sit and look at the view. I didn't choose a room with a balcony because it was cold out but I felt I didn't need one with such an amazing view. I want to return to Vilnius soon and will stay at Congress Avenue again!

We enjoyed staying at this hotel several nights for its central location. On a pedestrian street, the hotel is only about two blocks from the theater, cathedral, main city square, and the historic district. The hotel is comfortable, modern, and well appointed. We enjoyed the complete breakfast buffet. The front desk is not always very helpful (a language barrier?) but we got along fine at this lovely spot.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in excellent shape and the reception area has a real upper class feel about it. Even the smell of the hotel reception and corridors was a sweet smell really impressive. The room itself was faultless, it was clean spacious and an excellent bathroom. The t.v in the room was also an impressive size. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and plenty of space.
Overall this was a very classy hotel , and I couldn't find any issues. Good hotel. Highly recommended.
