Nice hotel with clean, warm rooms (in autumn) and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is extensive and well organized. Good location as well, the main sights are between up to 25 minutes walking distance.
We stayed in this hotel for one night. It seemed to us that our room had not been used for a while as there was a lot of dust on the table and overall cleanliness could have been better. Location of the hotel is great, we were able to rent electric scooters near the hotel and therefore we got to the city center very quickly. Although the hotel is next to a busy and big street, noise was not an issue. The room had a refrigerator, but no shoehorn for example. Hotel has private parking in front and behind of the hotel, but these areas were rather small and there were no available parking spaces in the evening when we arrived. We were able to park on the street next to the hotel. As mentioned in other reviews the breakfast area is very small and variety of food at the breakfast could be better. Lady in the reception was friendly.…
Room, internet cleanliness were OK, location is OK. Customer service is zero. I arrived early before check in time at 2:00pm although the room was ready. They didn't allow me in. At 7:30 in the morning I went down to ask for coffee they said they don't have the restaurant opens 8/9 morning. Any normal hotel offers hot drinks from 5:00 as there are tourists/ businessmen with very early flights. Not to forget to mention it took me so long to check in as if they were not aware of software usage of the PC. The lady at the reception needs a customer service training am afraid.
Large nicely air conditioned room on the 5th. floor with an averaged size bathroom but more than acceptable shower -comfy beds & slept like a log. Location appears slightly away from the centre but it is a nice brisk walk. We had no problems with breakfast queuing but you can understand how it could happen - the breakfast room is too small if the hotel is totally full with Tour parties. Was very happy with the hotel & our breakfasts -what else do you need while on a tour?
Stayed here with my wife for a couple of nights whilst on holiday. Room barely big enough for one suitcase, let alone two. No safe. Beds comfortable, shower/toilet fine. Now the bad news: The restaurant is too small for the size of hotel. The breakfast queue stretched out of the restaurant and through the lobby! On reaching the food, we found a selection of unappetising "hot" dishes, plus some cereals and fruit. Having helped ourselves, and with our hands full, we tried to find a table. Eventually shared a table covered in dirty dishes with another couple. Separate queue for lukewarm coffee. No toast. If you enjoy a leisurely, pleasant breakfast, avoid this place.
I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour. The outside appearance of the hotel was quite good and the interior hallway was attractive. However, I found the rooms a little worn. There was paint wear in the bathroom. I was particularly annoyed that the bed sheets did cover the mattress. I often felt I was sleeping on top of the bare mattress with no sheets. My room faced the road, when I opened my window too cool the room, there was significant road noise. Location wise, you could walk to the old town but it would take around 20 minutes. Breakfast was quite basic and there was often a line to the coffee machine. I think there were several tours at the same time our tour was there so the breakfast room can be quite crowded. No huge negatives but no positives either.
This hotel was part of tour stop. Nice clean rooms adequate bathroom. Smallish restaurant for multiple tour groups but ok breakfast and supper foods. Close to main downtown walk...or little farther to old town. I had no negatives really.
The location is quite good - fairly handy for the old town. The rooms were spacious and pleasant. The corridor / landings were full of artwork and settees which was nice. But breakfast was a scrum, not very well laid out and everyone came at once so there was a queue. not good
One of my friends booked this hotel for four of us for a last minute break The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome The rooms were warm and clean The TV’s were a bit sensitive needed to fiddle with the plug wire to get it/them going same in friends room The mini bar was expensive compared to the drinks generally in that area The breakfast was ok not fresh orange juice though The location was brilliant
We stayed here four days and found the hotel to be one the best its more 4 star than 3 The front desk staff are so helpful and polite and speak english quite well The room had enough room bathroom was a good size nice walk in shower there was mini fridge with stock at a ok price the bedding was good and the hotel was very clean The restaurant was quite nice menu was good we ate there a few times good prices there are a few cafe in a 10 min walk also city center about 15-20 min walk The breakfast included or 7 Euros was well worth it lots to choose from the breakfast staff were the only let down for the hotel quite rude and not helpful the tall blond lass would rather sit behind the bar and use her mobile than service you or attend to the food but i can look pass this and would stay here again well worth the money…
