We booked over the phone this Relais& Châteaux as we are familiar with the association. This is normally a sign of quality and customer service. Not on that occasion. The place is very dated, and the pool is only available if you book your time slot. Quite annoying if no-one tells you and you need to discover on your own. Beware that bar and restaurant are closed on Sunday...again he could have been indicated at booking. The front desk staff is very pleasant. But everyone else is not. Frankly, it seems like you are disturbing (bar, restaurant and tavern). Choking to hear from the restaurant manager that we could not go to the restaurant with our children who may have disturbed the other customers... We finally, after arguing, were allowed to And discovered the restaurant was actually empty. Great food though...shame. Bottom line it's not a 5 star hotel. And we will never go there again.

Response from Mantė Valotkaitė, Other at Stikliai Hotel
Responded Apr 6, 2023
Dear valuable guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I'm happy to see that you found front desk team as friendly and professional. I would like to kindly remind you that Relais & Chateaux Stikliai is boutique Hotel, located in the middle of old town, so the rooms and other spaces are decorated with authentic furniture and artworks. I apologize if receptionist upon check-in didn't inform you that the SPA zone needs to be booked in advance as most of our guests wish to have a private entrance. Our main Stikliai Restaurant are open Wednesday to Saturday. Alternatively there's Tavern restaurant which is open daily. We've already discussed the matter with restaurant manager and took an action to clearify the situation. We are always training our staff to deliver best possible experience to our guest Hope you will give us another chance and we will see you next time.

Beautiful hotel located in Old Town Vilnius. You can walk to all major sites from it. Staff was welcoming and attentive to our every need. The room is well maintained, stylish and clean. Beds were comfortable. There is a restaurant on property. Superb. Parking is few blocks away. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: So many streets are closed in Old Town so it is tricky to get to the parking lot.

The positive side, elegant hotel with nice decor, in a great location, but trading on past reputation and location rather than modern amenities. There is a nice ambience in the hotel and quite inner courtyards when the hotel is not busy, not when catering for outside events the hotel residents get overlooked and ignored. Lack of staff to serve breakfast and totally uninterested. They charge an extra 8 euros on top of normal breakfast charge if you want an eggs benedict, which is a bit petty. Avoid room 411 as directly outside the window is an extractor flue for the kitchen, which fires up at 7.00am and runs all day making this a very noisy bedroom. To be a true 5 star they need to upgrade and modernise the amenities.

This is the place where the presidents and the heads of state choose to stay when visiting Lithuania. The hotel is very stylish, the service is awesome the the owners of the hotel pay attention to every detail, from tastefully some accommodations to excellent breakfast and friendly service. My kudos to both of the front desk managers Vytis Andriulis and Juliana Kustovskaja . They were very helpful with everything and anything. Also would like to mention Indre Rageleviciene. She too was excellent and very polite. Really looking forward to coming here again!

Lovely hotel, very centrally located with nice rooms and, most importantly, lovely lovely staff. They were also very helpful arranging stuff (including helping us hire a wonderful tour guide Marija to take us to Take).

We visited Vilnius for the first time in February and chose this hotel based upon stays we have had in other Relais and Chateaux hotels. We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautiful, with tastefully furnished public areas and well appointed bed rooms. The service and food, especially breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We even received a complimentary bottle of wine, when an area of the hotel in which we liked to sit in the evening was closed for a private function and they had run out of the wine we had been drinking. Great location in the old town and one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the world. We will definitely be returning, probably early next year!

I was staying number of times in this small luxury hotel. It has a very unique location in this heart of the magical old town. The guest list of this hotel is a mix of royalty, official dignitaries, heads of states , and International stars and celebrities . I was very impressed to see all the recognized pictures and dedications of the former famous hotel guests. The room I was staying has classic elegant design with excellent king size bed, high quality bedding, large Bathroom with upscale amenities. All the rooms and common areas are disinfected and are very clean. The hotel has many disinfection Stations throughout the entire hotel. All staff keeps masks and gloves and hygiene is kept on high level . The Service here is excellent on every level . A special compliment to the profesional front office manager Vytis Andrulis that arranged for me the perfect accommodation. He is very kind and speaking fluent English like most of the staff . The breakfast in the hotel is Elegant and Excellent . . They have good quality choices including fresh detox juices and tasty local products. The waiters staff are very effective and polite. The hotel surrounding has many Restaurants, cafes and shops worth visiting. I love this hotel ambiance and great art collection and I fully recommend this hotel as excellent choice for business or leisure in this beautiful city.

It’s the little things that count for 5* property. Service in the bar shocking - when we asked nibbles menu next to our drinks waiter just said no we don't have anything. NO OLIVES NO PEANUTS. Wake up. Its 5* property you have. Wedding noice, no apologies from reception nothing - apart meeting police officer at the entrance. Not gonna stay in this property again.
