We stayed in this hotel 2 times for a day. First time, on Tuesday - so it was ok. Second time - during the weekend. It was terrible. There is a skybar on the top, so we heard the music until 3am. It was impossible to sleep. We asked the staff to make music not that intensive. The receptionist is really friendly and nice, but upstairs in the bar nobody cared about it.So, if you need to be fresh next morning, never chose this hotel during the weekend.
The rooms were just what to expect from a chain hotel. Even if i got upgraded to Executive cause of fully booked... But what i will remember it for is the friendly service at reception, lobby and restaurant. Despite the waiters doing +10hour shifts they were always welcoming you (back)... The breakfast was good. The daily menus in restaurant were tasty and served nicely. Also it has a good looking pool i will use on my next trip. Just the rooms were very warm even when putting heating on lowest possible. With windows open u got the sound from the nearby train station.
With a Holiday Inn, what you see is what you get. You can instantly tell you are in one from the decor, so visually there are no real surprises (apart from the two old cars in the lobby). The rooms are large and comfortable however, the pillows on the beds d.eflate as soon as your head hits them. Bath;rooms seem spacious, but my bath was very slow to drain. Only ate breakfast here, which was standard HI buffet fare, although there didn’t seem to be a toaster. Didn’t try the casino or spa so cannot pass judgement, but staff were very friendly and helpful.
beautiful rooms beautiful restaurant, quite room and it was possible to work in the room very nice casr museum in the garage and also a beautiful car in the lobby. only a little problem non instructionss for the safe
I had one night stay during conference. Room was quite nice and clean. Hotel is located close to railways and road and if room windows is open its quite noisy. Bathroom was smaller. Bed quality was fine. Food - bufet style was average.
I spent here just one night as I was on business trip. I can recomend this hotel as there were professional approach at reception. We have been accomodated very quickly. Hotel room was clean and tidy with comfortable bed. Ones you are accommodated you can visit hotel wellness. They had great selection of breakfast buffet as well as delicious lunch. I really recommend this hotel when you are staying in Zilina.
I stayed for one night. Not bad hotel, but I expected more. For me and my college main issue was noice. Doors are really bad, so you can hear everything and so we got waked up many times. Breakfast is also poor. All other was fine. Clean and nice room.
very nice and luxurious place to stay in. It was just 1 night but I really admire the hotel staff, building, room. Cool restaurant and casino in the basement of the hotel. Great plus - paradise at the top of the hotel including smaller pool, sauna, you can drink and enjoy nice view and panorama of Zilina. Expensive stay but worth it
Great choice for staying. Rooms are quiet and comfortable and the hotel is well located. Friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. The hotel has a convention center so the lobby is often crowded but there is plenty of space for everyone.
I stayed at this hotel for a business event. The beds are hard. The pillows look fluffy, but they’re feather pillows so they flatten out almost instantly. When I checked in, the receptionist didn’t provide any details about breakfast or wifi. The hotel does not provide shampoo or conditioner which I found unusual. Make sure you bring your own. The breakfast was acceptable.
