Arrived to Poprad from Kosice Airport by cab to a super modern structure with 2 pools and massage spa as well as excellent restaurants and awesome luxurious rooms overlooking the High Tatras mountais.
I was surprised to find such a beautiful architectural wonder run by thermal energy with a zero carbon print.Even the fountain in the front entrance is very warm and seems like a bubbling brook.
The check in area strangely is not located in the main floor but in the 3rd. reached by a beautiful glass elevator while viewing the different services offered.
My room was very spacious and modern with a great bathroom with all the modern conveniences, fluffy terry cotton robes and very modern
beds with impeccable linens.A balcony with a table and chairs to relax outdoors,as well the view of the Tratras and ski runs made the room look and feel super luxurious.
I can't say enough about the wonderful breakfast with all the imaginable dishes you can ask for like cold cuts, assorted breads and pastries, donuts, cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, coffee and teas, freshly cooked eggs any style by a chefs right in front to you, pancakes, omelets, sausages, bacon, pates and many other items
unfamiliar to me.
Check out was very fast and the young lady that helped me Lili went out of her way to insure my cab would arrive on time to Kosice Airport
about 1 hour 20 minutes away.Thank you Lili !!
This hotel is an excellent place for families with children with plenty of activities for all as well as a get away relaxing place with wonderful spa services, massages, saunas and other pampering luxuries at a very good price.
The area in abundant with old castles, churches and walled old towns to explore as well as nature walks and ski areas.
I can't wait to go again for a much longer stay.

Very modern hotel with great amenities. Although the staff did not speak much English, they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The restaurant food was amazing. Love the free entrance to Aqua City. Can't beat the value at this hotel.

Almost ten years ago I visitied AquaCity. I cannot believe the transformation.
I really enjoyed the original hotel the the addition of the Mountain View is outstanding.
They have added so much since I last went I don't know where to start.
The new childrens' attractions are great - as is the new Laser shows and even more another Spa centre which mean we can relax while the kids play.
Nows it's about two hours from Luton so another reason to go. The added bonus few Brits - enjoy it.

We stayed 3 nights in Mountain View resort in apartment with two children. Far from luxury accomodation. The food and services ok for 3 star hotel, not for 4 star hotel. Inside pools ok, outside pools reasonable. For money we payed you can find much better hotel with pools in Slovakia.

I'm a big fan of this place. For such price you will not find 4 stars hotel with such elegant restaurant, saunas, swimming pools. Lovely view for Tatry mountains. During summer time additional outside pools open. Great place for families with small kids. Starting with special pools, lot's of places were kids can play and have fun. Parking next to the hotel. Hotel is not far away from the center of Poprad, approx. 15 min walk. I strongly recommend this place.

The mountain view hotel is a 4 stars structure completed with a spectacular swimming pool centre. The available swimming pools are: one olimpic, two thermals (outside), three with water plays and hydro massages, and in one of these there is a pool bar where it is possible drink some cocktails directly in the water. Complete the structure a great spa center with different massage type, a gim, and a wellness area with different saunas and hydro massage possibilities.
A very good experience.
In the room the whole swimming center is included. The price is good.

Easy to find. Check in went very smoothly.

We had a reservation for Seasons, my spouse checked out both Seasons and Mountain View, not even close. Stay at Mountain View. We stayed four nights.

Hotel guests get separate monitored parking.

The rooms are spacious with his and her robes.

The bed is comfortable. The air conditioning can be hit or miss. There is a nice little patio with a view of the Tatras.

We were on half board, that is breakfast and dinner included. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet. Breakfast is quite good, dinner is standard fair with nothing very fancy.

Service is bad, too in different. We tip well as Canadians, but ended up tipping very little. For a buffet breakfast we usually leave four dollars, two each. Most mornings we couldn't get a staff member to help us. For a buffet dinner we would normally tip between 8 and 30 dollars. Most nights we would only leave a couple of dollars. I'm only mentioning this in the hope that the management tell their staff. Also many nights we couldn't order a wine or a cocktail, so the hotel lost out on that income. We also found that some of the female staff can be very rude with female guests. (Cultural??)

The pools are great, with a laser light show at 9:30 pm. There is a separate steam area, with hot pool. (WARNING for you North Americans, you are expected to go buff with a supplied sheet.) I especially liked the steam then a cold shower, then into the ice room. Quite literally a room with ice and snow on the floors and walls. Great fun.

We would return but next time I would not tolerate rudeness to my spouse. It takes a lot to get Canadians riled up.

We stayed at this hotel in the second half of October 2015 (4 nights). The hotel was chosen as a starting point for a day of trekking on National parks of Slovakia. The choice proved to be very successful. After 5-6 active time crossings was nice in the evening to relax in a comfortable hotel room and relax in the thermal pools of Aqua park. Very convenient that the room price includes half Board (very good food) and a visit to the water Park and some Spa treatments. The room is very clean, cleaning was carried out regularly. Outside - views of the High Tatras (recommend a room above the third floor). In the evening, the entertainment event (the laser light show, disco, etc.). Score - excellent!

We booked through a great deal on Wowcher which was £129 for 3 nights half board including all facilities and cryotherapy. We had to book flights which were only 50 pounds each return from London Luton.
The airport is very small which makes the experience even easier.

Transfers were also included and when we arrived at reception we were already very impressed!
Staff at the desk were fluent in English and very polite and courteous.

We requested a room on the top floor and on arrival we couldn't believe how nice it was. It had a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, a large bathtub to soak in and even a reasonably priced minibar.

Facilities in site were our of this world. We didn't take our children but there were so many times we wished we had as there is so much to do for adults and kids.

The spa and wellness centre was the best I've ever seen, the pools were varied and warm and the laser show at night was fantastic.

We did the cryotherapy where you walk slowly In a room for 3 minutes at -130°C which has health benefits...certainly an experience.

We tried some skiing which was a 15 minute ride from the hotel. We also walked to the shopping areas of Poprad which even in the snow was am easy walk.

The food was excellent with a good variety of flavours from all over Europe. The waiters and waitresses were very polite and tried to translate even if their English wasn't fluent....it's better than my Slovakian!

The only minor point was the room was very hot. There was air-conditioning but we couldn't figure it out. If we'd asked I'm sure the friendly staff would have helped.

I really hope they put an offer on groupon again as I want to take my whole family and my brothers family next time.

Best hotel I've ever stayed in and Poprad is a beautiful place to stay!

We had a little over a week here and had a truly super time. The AquaCity complex itself is in town, not in the mountains, and sits between two old town centres. At first I thought 'crikey, it's an old Soviet training centre', and certainly the main swimming pool originates from those times, but they have really upgraded the whole place. The Mountain View is a small hotel extension added to the north of the swimming hall and does have a view of the Tatras. They are so close that on clear days we could see skiers on the slopes.
The room itself was spotless and very well appointed. It felt very clean and 'Danish', and we had robes and a large bathroom. A short walk down to the main hotel area brought you to the reception area, which has a nice bar/coffe bar. The front desk staff could not be nicer, and we had no trouble being English speakers.
The restaurants were a short elevator ride up or down. We went to the buffet every night (and this is where we had buffet breakfast). The meals were great: they always had a low fat option, a vegetarian option, and usually a specialty of local cuisine, which I can say from repeat visits were great. The chicken noodle soup was the best I've eaten. Breakfasts offered yohurt, cereal, cold and hot choices, and really delicious coffe and hot milk (and hot chocolate).
The thermal pools were outdoors and HOT. The outdoor pool is not as big as the 50 metre indoor pool, but it was longer than I was used to (good for me!). The spa area had lots of jets, jet baths, hot water, etc. Offically these are not par tof the hotel, but i am putting them in this review anyway, because it is all one complex.
We had lunch every day in the pool cafe. The pool facilities are open to the public, and it was really nice to have local families and bunches of school chilren there to enjoy or to learn to swim.
We were on half-board, which included free access to the pools and spa, and my goodness it is a bargain. Plus free transfers to and from the airport! Are we going again? You bet!
