Lovely friendly check-in! Was pleasantly surprised with a personal showing to my room (Only 25 bedrooms) so was a nice touch! My room was huge with TV with over 100 channels including UK ones! Nice big double, but you could tell it was a split bed which divides into a Twin - but I don't move in my sleep. Lots of hot water, hospitality tray etc... Warm room! Best part was the free Spa with sauna, steam. complimentary warm ginger and honey tea, jacuzzi, small relaxing pool... All very clean and looked after so well! Slippers are mandatory, but all clean and friendly! Breakfast was nice in a very quirky "old time" restaurant, but served its purpose, although a little limited and old fashioned - need to make the food on its presentation much fresher looking - more colourful! - but tasted okay - it was like an early 80's breakfast. The location is okay - just don't look like a tourist at night time - but I felt safe!

The Hotel bears a vintage look but really it is old. Our room cost over 100 euro per night and both windows in the room were broken and did not close properly what is a real problem at the end of December. Bathtub was dirty and toilet was not splashed. Bed was very unconfortable but it had enough of pillows. Soap dispenser was dirty (I supposed mold). Overall service was absolutely not satisfactory. First, we were not warned that massage was not available for booking. Kitchen works only till 10 pm and though it is not very late we had a problem to order cold snacks at 9:45 pm because "kitchen staff was leaving" However, after 2 calls we got a plate with question "do you want us to bring it to your room or will you pick it up at the restaurant" We believe that room service should be taken for granted in such property without inadequate questions. For breakfast we could order as we were only 4 people overnight. Coffee machine was broken and the waiter was not willing to start a big coffee machine behind the bar and instead he offered instant coffee! When other 2 guests left breakfast he would take the unfinished cheese plate from their table and offered it to us "would you like some cheese?" we declined ... The young girl in the spa area was very friendly and descrete. She would service us very well. We liked the spa area although the massage shower was broken (and to us seemingly even a bit dangerous to use) Foot bath was broken as well. She however prepared very nice ginger drinks for us. When we were leaving we got question if everything was ok, well we said no. The explanantion for that was "there is not enough of staff because of Christmas". Make your own judgement. We might visit spa again but staying in the hotel is really not worthy.

Celý pobyt nám pokazila nepríjemná noc kedy bola pod našou izbou svadba... Nikto nás o tom neinformoval a zistili sme to keď sme pred pol nocou vrátili na izbu.. Tak sme nevyspali a mrzutý odchádzali... a slečna na recepcii ani len nereagovala na našu sťažnosť Takže neodporúčam tento hotel Our stay was ruined because of wedding under our room Ofc was imposible to sleep Receptionist told nothing about before Also as i complained on morning other receptionist didnt react ... So if u can chose i will not recomend this hotel.

We were guests at the wedding and i dint like the attitude of the staff...trying to be maybe funny, but it came out as being rude.. I asked for a water when they started to serve alcohol and other stuff, the server told me, they dont serve water, and if i want a water i should go drink out from the foutain that was in the middle of the room...i was stunned....trying to be funny, but they need to realize, we are guests, not their close friends and there are boundaries to what they can say to me "out of fun" its non of his business why i drink only water my sister asked them to turn the a.c. on..he said...one wants it on , one wants it off...i pulled out the cable from a.c.... They are there to work and to make everyone enjoy the wedding, not to comment that they need to adjust a.c....of course when ppl start to dance and drink its gonna be more hot....common sense very unpleasant "macho man" attitude...

Hidden behind an unassuming door, this fantastic hotel offers lovely rooms, in a quirky setting. The covered courtyard is used for dinning, the above balcony provides access to rooms and the spa, which offers a range of facilities including pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, steam room, sauna etc. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and it’s location in a quiet backstreet is only minutes away from the main area of restaurants and shops. Kosice seems to only just beginning to attract tourists, but is a lovely location with beautiful architecture and a quaint town feel. Ryanair has just started to run a service from London Southend, and it’s a quick 2 hour flight, well worth a visit for a short break👍
