This hotel is a game of two halves. The reception is quite regal and befitting a 5 star hotel as you first walk in. I was impressed. Again, the breakfast facilities were also very good. But as you go up the lift, you enter a different era, of a time gone by. The rooms still have the décor befitting the 80's, maybe 90's at a push. However, my favourite was the shower that flexes as you stand on it, and the port window showing a very small letterbox view of you having a shower. It's a weird set up. The location however was very good and easily walkable from the town centre (20-25 mins). I would stay here again but probably only because it is one of the better hotel's in the area without paying silly money.

Actually, I thought from the outside that it wouldn't be a very good address, but inside it's top notch. Beautiful accommodation, great food. The breakfast could be a little better, but on the other hand, the lady who was in charge of it made sure that everything was prepared. The hotel has a good location, but the price for the room is too high for what you get. The room was very small, but the bathroom was spacious and very nice! The reception staff could have been friendlier.
The room was also opened in the middle of the night by some drunk teens, which negatively affected the experience.
The breakfast was nice, everything was tasty. It is interesting that the check-out time is 10 am and you can stay longer for additional pay.

We stayed at hotel Yasmine for 3 days last weekend. Room was on the 10th floor with nice view. Location is great with few minutes walk to the old city centre and right across the road from Kulturfabrik which is good spot for drink and atmosphere. When we checked in we asked receptionist if we can get dinner in the hotel restaurant (steakhouse Montana) and have it charged to the room bill. Receptionist said yes, no problem, however when we came to the restaurant they refused to do so. We had non smoking room, but it was stinky from cigarettes. overall not bad hotel, but nothing special for the price paying.

Hotel Yasmin, is located just 5min walk from the main tourist old town part of Kosice. Hotel looks nice from outside and common areas are modern and nice looking. The room is good size but the hotel room bed is the worst I’ve ever sleep on. Breakfast was standard and although I did not eat in steak restaurant I did have a drink and it looked good. Room has a mini bar but water not free and can also be purchased at reception. Gym is a little dated and basic. In summer back garden could be nice but closed in April when I stayed.

When you ask on reception regarding better mattress staff just told you that is on all rooms same, and agreed that is not really comfortable as should be but they have no solution for customers. Location is fine but service is very poor. Rooms weren't cleaned daily, fresh towels only, bed was made but no trash was removed any other excess empty bottles. Could not charge to the room from the bar.
The lobby is very sterile, not someplace you would want to visit with friends.

I expected much better service and room from 4stars hotel. At the first look the room looked nice, but then - the shower didn't drain well, the tissue box was empty and we got just one vanity kit, even though there were two of us. The bed was pretty hard and thermostat didn´t work properly. The waiter in the reastaurant wasn´t polite at all and the breakfast was quite poor and staff wasn´t profi.

Stayed for a week on business. Hotel is modern and very clean. Service is wonderful. Food and service in the main restaurant is excellent. Manager Daniel and his team are great. Bed too hard for a 5 star rating, pillows are tiny and controlling room temperature difficult for the winter.
