Just a short biz ride for Slovakia it was. The hotel´s front entrance is in the pedestrian area, cars on the rear side is possible direct. Good to do a walkaround in the evening, no taxi cab needed. Quiet it was, no noise to notice from the outside during my stay. Room is large and spacious, also the bathroom, modern and everything worked well. Really nice breakfast in the early morning with close to no other travellers around. A nice place to stay in Kosice.

Visited in Jan 2019. The corridors are hard to navigate through, especially with some of the sensors not functioning. On 2 occasions, there was cigarette smoke filling the corridor. Breakfast sub-average. Dinner menu good. Waiting staff very pleasant. Got charged 2000% the average rate for a call (no signs of phone charges in the room). The manager refused to clear the bill of the phone charge (ca 3% of the entire spending we made in a hotel). There are many nicer places in Kosice. The hotel markets itself as a 4 star place but that is very misleading. The place has a very bizarre vibe and there are many issues (ripped carpets, ripped sofas, not functioning lights etc). The main positive was the restaurant visit, albeit with long waiting time (ca 1.25hr). That is likely due to being shortstaffed though. The view from the rooms is likely to be onto an old wall of a neighbouring building.

The first thing you notice is you walk up a long tunnel into the hotel. First impression is the desk of the Receptionist is pretty cheap and not really well kept. The staff members on the reception are exceptionally friendly and take care of you well. I was on the 2nd floor, the moment you step out of the lift the lights come on according to sensors. I found once I came out of my room and it was dark the sensors dont always work immediately. Once you towards the restaurant, the dishes on the right side are in a cupboard, almost very old fashioned and from earlier times. The lighting in the restaurant was ok but had dead flies in the light cover. The breakfast food was acceptable for the type of hotel this is. The room: Its very simple but generally fine and comfortable. The room I had looked onto the roof of an old building but nothing the hotel can change on this issue. I didnt try the evening menu in the hotel. The hotel is generally nice, but for business purposes not really my type of hotel but that doesnt reflect anything on the hotel.

Room Tip: Internet is free in the hotel, but no A/C so I can imagine in summer it may be pretty warm.

This hotel is in old historical building right in the city centre. Location is close to everything you may wanna see. Hotel was clean, but you can really feel character of history as its quite dark inside and layout is neat, but thats how these old town buildings were built. Our room was just above some garage or something, where trucks were unloading stuff during night what was quite noisy and we kept waking up. However next day we ask receptionist if she could change our room and there was no problem, she moved us right away in more quit area of hotel.
