The good side of the hotel was the free parking in front of the building, Wi-Fi, Spacey rooms. The bad sides, in two Days we nade contact with three receptionist, one could barely speak english and german, the second one couldn't answer our questions properly for transport, restaurants etc. Like shes in a not-payed-enough sort a mood. And the third... More

Not bad for one night in Bratislava. is a few km from the city center, which is possible to reach by bus, very convenient to get to the airport. For what concerns the comfort to reach the common places it is fine. as regards the cleaning of the rooms, it is to be improved.

I've stayed at Hotel Turist several times, admittedly not recently but I am going back to stay there later this year - and I would never go back to a hotel if I didn't like it. (I recently stayed in a hotel in Berlin which was utterly appalling, and would never go back to that Berlin hotel because it was... More

We arrive at Hotel Turist thinking it would be an ok hotel considering the price we would be paying per night...we were very wrong. The reception hall looked very run down but this was nothing in comparison to the rooms. When we got to our room we were horrified. The wardrobe door was missing, there were hairs in the bed,... Very much a budget hotel. Located about half way between the airport and the city, 5 minutes walk from the 61 bus. Shabby. Old furniture. Typical 1970's-style Communist hotel. It does have WiFi, but has not been brought up to date in any other way. Room smelt of cigarette smoke, and bed very creaky. The old shower worked - although... More

Budget hotel, had a hard time to find which block to enter to. Rooms were quite small, but comfortable stay. Good for small stay. Subway and a nice cafe nearby. A little bit of walk to metro, but supermarket was very near. Not good wifi.

Clean, spacious room, staff was very helpfull. There is small telly in the room, but no coffee making facilities. Shower was hot and pressure of water was excellent. Billa, bus and tram stops are in walking distance. Not luxury accomodation, but clean and reasonable priced and that was all I needed.

Spent just the one night here in mid September. Had a ground floor room so lack of lift not an issue. Room very spacious and reasonably clean. Beds a bit hard but comfortable. Warning walls are paper thin so neighbouring couple arguing through the night not ideal. There are two types on rooms - one facing the front (a housing... More

Once I was looking an accommodation in the region of Ruzinov and gave a try to this hotel. Never more. The room was dirty, stinking of cigarette smoke, furnished with old furniture crumbling into pieces and old carpet. There was a chair falling apart and tiny table. Not working small old TV. I heard noises from other rooms and made... More

Friendly and cheerful staff, room was big, warm and clean. Shower was hot hot hot! loved it. Bed was little hard and there was no kettle to make a tea or coffee. You can have breakfast in a hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around though.
