In 2010 was reconstructed, so rooms are brand new, clean and comfortable as you can see on the newest pictures. Congress facilities offer a great variability of table settings with a maximum seating capacity of up to 340 persons in a theatre seating in a Congress Hall. The hotel is located about 5 km from the very center, has a large paid parking lot (10 euros/day). The hotel is located in a free parking zone, so you can park along the surrounding roads for free. Good breakfasts, although very slow service. Nice service at the reception. There is a Tesco Express store downstairs.
4 stars for this hotel is a gross exaggeration. Max 3 and it's average. During the 4-day stay, the room was never cleaned and hygiene products were not replenished. There is no kettle or even cups in the room. Only large bath towels available, someone forgot about the small ones. The hotel standard is a maximum of 3 stars.

I really don't wait anything from the staff but to not say even "Hello"??
I don't think the lady at the reception knows how to deal with the customers. We also asked for baby cot but the answer was that we don't have somebody who can bring it to you...

The breakfast was good.
Parking with extra charge.

Nice place, clean rooms, with huge parking availability, very close to City Centrum with many transport options. Tesco Express store, hair saloon, rent a car service in the hotel area. Ideal place for a business trip, for meetings but also for family.

This hotel would give Kafkaesque a bad name. Let me explain, the conference center and restaraunt is on the mezzanine level, but there is NO ELEVATOR ACCESS. Handicapped must wait for staff to take them on the freight elevator which is not self-serve and even stymied one of the staff to operate it.
The minute you enter the hotel you see their cheeky signage such as "You are at Hotel Bratislava -- Deal with it!"
Only two people at the front desk for a hotel with 450 rooms? Preposterous.
Here is a list of the problems with our suite -- the top quality rooms
1. Two bathrooms -- fan was broken in both of them
2. Headboard lights -- on/off switch was broken
3. Balcony -- covered in pigeon sh!t obviously never cleaned
4. Sink -- hot/cold taps miswired. One sink has hot on left the other has hot on right
5. Couch--wobbly, broken arm, don't lean on it. Probably at least 10 years old.
6. Hallways--a distinctive old building smell, this building is 50 years old and shows it
7. Staff--overworked, surly, and plain unhelpful.
Here is an example: they used to have a Business Center in 2019 but now it is gone. You cannot print a piece of paper. I asked the staff to print it, she opens the high-speed printer says "Not much paper". WTF? Is there a paper shortage, no there is not and she could go to the copy/fax store on the corner even if there was. She gives me the email address and says to email the document to her. I do so and get no reply. Typical.
Next time go to a name-brand hotel chain, not some shabby communist era dump.

Part of a group travel arrangement, i myself wouldn't book this Hotel, romms are old fashioned and need renovation urgently. The Hotel was totally booked out du to an event somewhere nearby, and the personal was very unfriendly. Reception fully overloaded with guests and several complaints about the rooms, Restaurant personal was unfriendly and opening times were not even close to the signs with the opening hours. Small rooms and especially bathrooms need renovation. AirCondition not working properly, not cleaned for weeks, if working at all.
The only place with friendly service and good atmosphere was the Hotel Bar, very friendly personal, good and not too expansive drinks of any kind from fresh beer out of the tap to cocktails. As well outside nice to sit and have some drinks.
At our next visit to Bratislava we'll maybe come for some Drinks but for overnight stay we choose another hotel.

The working weekend in Bratislava was demanding and we needed to sleep, the congress was held in this hotel and so we slept here. It is so sad, a four-star hotel, but the services, rooms and equipment are below average, only the breakfast was quite decent. The bathroom is small and the shower is historic. I do not recommend.

The hotel is at the Suburb area. We took Uber to go to downtown, and it's about 30 USD. There is a grocery store and a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is good. The staff is very friendly and speak English. But the elevator is very small. Not good for a large group.

The biggest problem of the hotel is not the hotel rooms but the hotel staff. No welcoming, no personal touch. Especially reception staff is very unhelpful, rolling their eyes whenever you ask for something. The staff spent most of their time stood in groups talking instead of interacting with the guests. The staff definitely need customer service training.

Hotel is not so easy to find, but it's worth to use it, especially if you are not only on touristic trip, although connections with old town are good and very friendly staff will help you to get familiar with it, too.
Rooms are simple, but clean and spacious what is actually surprising for old socialistic building in the middle of area full of blocks of flats from the same period.
I was even more surprised by friendliness, efficiency and politeness of all the staff. I never had such a quick check in my life in spite of one angry lady in my group who was making problems. They were really very professional and polite even to her, although later we laughed and agreed such people should not go out of their houses.
Another pleasant surprise was food, vegetarian dinner was made especially for me and arrived the same time with rest of the group whose dinner was ordered in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and they offer really good selection of food. Unexpected for 3 star hotel in suburbs.
I recommend it and hope to come back; just take in consideration it's not so close to the city centre.

I stayed at this hotel with my partner and our 3 year old daughter few weeks ago. Even though I specified in the booking that it’s 2 adults and 1 child, we were given a double bed only. I was expecting an extra bed for my child to be ready in the bedroom (don’t mind paying extra charge), but nothing has been sorted out or even offered. This made our stay quite uncomfortable. We also found the breakfast very disorganised. We came down to the restaurant and none of the staff was available to explain us anything. We just grabbed a table and helped ourselves to everything, this makes me feel like anyone from the street can walked in, get the table and have a breakfast at this place cause no one cares.
