It is located very close to the city centre. The rooms are big enough and very clean. The breakfast is satisfying too. The staff is unfriendly though. "Thank you" and "welcome" are unknown words to them.

Stayed here four nights. Good is the location, easily reachable by bus 93 from the Main railway station and close to shops and restaurants. The old city is a 10 minutes stroll away. The room was big enough and the shower room quite big and practical. Breakfast had to be paid for an extra 6€. It was fine but nothing... More

Garni is a great family hotel in the middle of the town. Few steps from the old town and local shops. We have been in November with a group of friends and at check in the receptionist gave us the opportunity to chose our room. We decided to go for the Cancer room on the top floor. This room was... At first, it is not a hotel as we know hotels but a pension. Moreover, I could have appreciated if there was a curtain in the bath tab so when taking a shower the water wouldn't fall around the floor!!!!The room was not clean at all for the three days of our stay and was restricted only in taking the... The position of hotel was very good, near to bus station and to old city. Room was simple nice, the phone was out of work. There is no lift and the stuff did not help at all with the luggage. When we arrived the lady at reception with the long blond hair did not welcome us at all, she was... More

Location: Old town is worth an afternoon of wander around sightseeing, that's about it. Highlight was cabbage soup, halusky and pils at The Slovak Pub, frequented by locals. This is a decent place to stay in Bratislava. 10 minute walk to bus routes, 15 minutes to Obchodná shopping / dining district, 20 minutes to old town. A little hard to... More

I really liked this hotel. The location was great, 15 minutes walk from the town. The staff were nice and helpful, never making me feel like a burden when asking for directions, recommendations, and advice. I emailed them before my trip asking about how much a taxi from the airport should be to the hotel and they replied quickly, offering... More

We loved this place. The staff were so nice and spoke great english. The room was clean and extremely well appointed. We've been cycling through Spain, France, Germany, Austria and now Slovakia over the last 6-7 weeks and we're trying to stick below the 90€ a night mark to give you an idea of our budget. This place ranks as... More

Slept here one night. Only met one of the staff, and he seemed to be the owner, the manager, the maid and the chef. A really friendly hard working fellow. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was more than large enough. Nothing to complain about unless you're going to be at the hotel during your entire stay... More
