We stayed here for a few days. The conditions were very good, it was clean, the hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The food was great, a bit expensive for the amount of food; we tried most part of the menu. We didn't like that they had the same menu the whole week, but if you don't eat at the hotel everyday it's ok. We had some small problems with two of the waiters, we ordered something and they brought us something else, but they said they were new.
This hotel is good enought for you business trip in bratislava. Rooms are ok and the personel can be more friendly, Also the parking is not so big but there are lot of park places around the hotel as well
It was just so welcoming a place to arrive at. Breakfast was amazing, rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We ate there, having drinks on the terrace and a splendid supper. Air con was super-quite. Just great value but above a fine hotel that I need an excuse to revisit. Thank you everyone at Hotel Brix for taking such good care and helping me with the Avis rental issues, now that's another story and not one with a happy ending. Loved Hotel Brix.
The hotel is nicely furnished with some elegant little touches, good beds and bedding, individually controlled A/C, basic minibar, good closet, modern elevator, bright, pleasant rooms, modern bathrooms with large, deep tub and good hand shower, nice buffet breakfast, pleasant terrace and indoor restaurants, friendly and courteous staff from room maids to reception. Parking is available, the bus stop is a in front of the building, drug store and grocery stores next door. The hotel is located in the Kramare section of Bratislava, 10 minutes taxi ride (7 Eur) from the Novy Most stop for buses to Vienna Airport or Vienna Center. Taxi to Vienna costs about Eur 60 and to Budapest about Eur 200. The only negatives that I can cite are: no coffee or tea making facility, could have fluffier bathroom linens and hangers for ladies' skirts. The general atmosphere and the helpful staff make up for it. Julia, the charming and very capable waitress in the restaurant went beyond her call of duty on a daily basis (and with a smile) to cater to my vegetarian needs. Thank you All for an easy, comfortable and pleasant stay.…
The hotel is placed near two bus stations but this is both an advantage considering that you are somehow connected to the whole city and a disadvantage because if your room is on the street side, you may find the noise a little bit disturbing. The room was small enough to look very private, but the bed was a little bit unconfortable, it had a weird spring mattress so it could give you some back pain. The restaurant is very good. Its size makes you feel very confortable with the other people around. The breakfast is very good and the scrambled eggs are the best I have ever eaten.
Great location minutes from train station and from cityAlso near city transport.Near Prazska ul when one cames by car from Prague or Brno..On a hill near big Kramare hospital.and Childrens hospital.Newish small hotel with big clean and comfortable rooms.Bed was just about right for me for a good sleep.Good staff good info abt city.Tastefull breakfast.Good restaurant.Impecable service...Ideal for business travel transit or city holiday. No negatives.
New Hotel in Vinohrady Area. Rooms are big and confortable. Rooms are cleaned, just a little noises in the morning. Breakfast is poor and coffee is terrible. No possible to obtain an espresso. There are good services but always with extra pay.
I stayed at the Hotel Brix on a recent business trip to Bratislava. I selected the Brix on the recommendation of colleagues and due to its proximity to customers. Overall I was a bit disappointed by Hotel Brix, primarily due to the lack of noise isolation. Positives: *Decent restaurant (although I could see my steak had been sitting under the heater for a good few minutes) *Relatively new Negatives: *Very noisy (I was woken up by guests going to their rooms at midnight!) *No shower *You have to request a remote for the air conditioners in the rooms *Beds are not the most comfortable In the end I would recommend taking a hotel near the center and fork out for a taxi to customers.
