The hostel is okey for a short stay. There was a weird smell in the room and it wasn't exactly clean. The beds were hard and you could here all the noise from the other rooms and hallway but not from the street. The location is perfect, there are some good restaurants nearby and the walking distances are short. Also...

Hello, We stayed for one night in city hostel. In fact it's not actually a hostel, as they told us that there are only private rooms. 47 euros a night. No breakfast/ diner included. You do get towels. The rooms are clean, have a shower, toilet, mini kitchen with just a few plates and cups. The staff was really friendly,...

The hostel is in a great location, easily accessed from the main train station and only a 5minute walk from St Michael's Gate in the Old Town. The room was a good size and appeared clean, however there was a strong smell of urine in the room. Towels and sheets were provided and there was also Wifi in the room....

The staff didn't seem motivated at all, which made us seem somewhat unwelcome here. The beds are basically a piece of wood with a thin layer of foam on, so extremely hard - doable for two nights, but not longer. The rooms have very poor insulation, so if there are people in the room next to you you will hear...

To start with the bigest Pro: the location is very good. In combination with the Low price I do give it A positive advice. The beds are very hard though and the hygene/cleaning is what you van expect for this price.

Nice beds, clean rooms and in a great location - near most of the attractions and also near a tram stop. I traveled with friends and we had a private three-person room which was affordable and comfortable.

The hostel was easy to find on foot walking from the main train station. It is located very central but yet away from tourist centrum. The room had its own bathroom/toilet which was nice. But.. and here it comes - the beds was like rocks and the wifi was almost not existing.

Sam hostel smesten je u ulicici koja i nije tako sredjena, medjutim tu su smesteni lokali sa brzom hranom, i uvek je bilo ljudi, tako da smo prosli bez problema :) The hostel, itself, is housed in the street, which is not so arranged (street looks awful), however there are stationed bars with fast food, and there were always people...

So as someone who has been about I can tell you my initial thoughts were oh my god, A hostel in Bratislava (this should be interesting). You walk down a lane to get to the reception which kind of makes your fear level raise a bit more. Prompt check in and allowed to drop our bags as it was ten...

City Hostel is one of the best choices for cheap accomodation in the centre of Bratislava, you'll get a fair room for the money you pay and thanks to the location of the hostel, you can get anywhere in the city in just a moment by walking.
