The rooms are on a passage above 2 floors. The other floors are in constant use all night. I am still here, can't sleep and the staff say the management/owners won't do anything. If you can cancel your booking and stay somewhere else. This is Not a hotel as such, just rooms off a corridor. There is no point saying...

Biggest positive is location. Right in the heart of the old town making everything easily accessible. Staff were friendly and the lock on my room door broke and this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Appreciated that greatly. My room was odd however, 3 really rubbish single camp beds, not comfortable at all. No view at all and up...

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights on a short city break. We booked one of the comfort rooms. It was basic but big and clean. Was quite a big step up into the shower which might be a problem for some. Hotel does not take credit cards which is not made clear on website I booked through....

Ideal location for mid week break but can be noisy on weekends, which may not be a bad thing depending on what you want. Quite a variance in rooms but all were clean, I would avoid the rooms overlooking walkways/shopping area as they have no outside windows for fresh air. We had a great time there and were happy with...

It is a small, nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were fully renovated, we stayed in February and they were warm and clean, good value for money. The only disadvantage was that it could be a bit noisy, the walls are thin. There is no elevator but the stairs are wide, so no problem with luggage. The...

Excellent location. Hotel is quirky and a little worn but clean with friendly staff. Well recommended within walking distance of all amenities. Steer clear of Slovak hotel next door which is over priced. We got caught on first day and paid 4.50 for beer. Average price 2 euros. Loved the hard rock bar next door and bar opposite Irish bar.

The hotel fails to mention on their website that you have to climb 80+ steps to get to the reception as no lift and once at reception we had another 10/12 steps up to our room and my friends had 15+ back down to their room. On returning at nighttime back to our room the receptionist lady must turn into...

The Old City Hotel is cheap and basic but was clean and a great location in the centre of the Old City so ideal for a short break, close to cafes and restaurants. We stayed for 2 nights and it was fine, a little noisy at night time but that's what you expect due to it's location. Yes it is...

The hotel's listing on Booking.com failed to mention the 5 flights of stairs. There was no breakfast. The room was up a spiral staircase, not easy with luggage. There were ants crawling over the floor. When I expressed my dismay and asked if I could cancel, I was told I would have to pay regardless. Avoid at all costs.
