Simply Superb. Excellent in every respect. I have stayed in worse 5 star hotels. All staff from cleaners to reception staff were friendly, accomodating, pleasant and helpful. We attended a family wedding and the staff obviously made efforts to ensure they even dressed appropriately.

A real surprise in the city inn, my room was next to the big green park with beautiful Castle view. I had a balcony too. The restaurant is excellent, parking place is FREE of charge, the wifi connection is good in public places and in the room too.

I had pleasure of staying in their new rooms, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and fresh. Nespresso coffee machine in the room with quality coffee.
Very comfortable bed and quality pillow.
Staff warm welcome and very helpful.
Only one thing missing no lift for the elderly and would be nice to have a pool and spa

Now named as Hotel Historia Malomkert. Been there two times already and most probably will go back again. Perfect location. Walking distance to the castle and the city of Veszprém. Friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms. Great own restaurant and bar/pub. They serve their own craftbeer.

I stayed here for a night, after attending concert. The city center is OK to go on foot, however it can be too steep for someones.
I got a spacious room, with spacious bathroom, everything was fine. The window was a bit small, and strangely situated due to the original building, I could ssee the castle from thre, it was beautiful. There is a free parking. The breakfast room is small but breakfast was OK. The staff was nice.

We had stayed here for a week, we got a very spacious family room with baby bed. The room and the bathroom are both very clean, the staff is kind and friendly, the food is nice, good beer too :) There is also a small playground.

I stayed at this hotel after a long day skiing nearby. I booked this hotel based on the availability and proximity to the slops.
Upon arrival at night, my GPS led me to the back area of the hotel and it took a while till I found the entrance and the parking (outdoor free parking). Entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the look & feel of my room, it was clean, fresh, spacious & functional, simple yet elegant and very well lit with nice little widow than you CAN open for fresh air. The bathroom had a large closed shower which I appreciate (more than showering in bath tubs) with good water pressure, the only downside for the bathroom is the lack of space at or around the sink to put your toiletry and this is for a single male traveler, imagine if you have a female partner that would not be convenient , the bathroom though is spacious enough to add a shelf or little console to accommodate this need.
The restaurant was full with locals which a sign of good food and it was. I had typical Hungarian meal and it was delicious. The hotel also brew their own beer as well.
All in all was excellent experience and I would certainly recommend this hotel and would go back when in the area.

Spent a weekend at hotel. The rooms and bathroom are clean, and staff are very polite and friendly. The breakfast is very limited though, but given the small size of this hotel, I think its fair. The restaurant has some really good food to offer, prices are. reasonable and well worth it. The only downside is that there is not much to do in the area,unless you enjoy walking and sightseeing,in which case the city looks very historic, and has some really nice atmosphere, but that is about it. I would say a day would be more that enough to explore it all. One thing that disappointed us was that the minibar in the room had really old beverages, and were extremely close to expiry date. Also I don't know who's idea was it to put the can opener in the minibar, but it was simply very rusty and disgusting . Otherwise, we highly recommend this hotel if you want to explore veszprem.
