From the 18th century on it served its residents as a civil house, and since 2010 it’s been providing civil conveniences as a hotel for its guests ...Hotel Historia & Historante, "the trendy tradition." The first downtown 4-star hotel of Veszprem is located in the heart of the city, only a one-minute walk from Ovaros Square and the castle. When designing the house, we strove to preserve its original atmosphere but also, with the latest trend in mind, to equip the hotel with services expected in the 21st century. As there aren’t two guests who are the same, there aren’t two rooms in our house that are the same either, so everyone can find a room that best suits their preferences in terms of its situation and arrangement. Light, natural colours dominate our rooms, and hundreds of years old beams bring back the memory of the past in the Monument Wing. In our family rooms there is a children’s play corner that awaits the smallest ones. All of our rooms are non-smoking. Imagine spending some relaxing minutes after the sauna, steam cabin or massage in the adventure pool or the glass-roofed resting area of our wellness section ... with a view to the Fire Watch Tower of Veszprem! Our restaurant Historante is special not only because of its name ... it offers unique flavors and revived specialties to our guests.
