I have stayed here for 4 nights during a business trip.

The Citycenter of Szekes is well made and the Hotel is more or less in the middle.
It seems to be well constructed.
By naviagtion its a bit difficult to find and the undergroundparking is a bit hidden.
Most of the parking slots in the undergroundparking is a too small for SUVs.
Breakfast is very nice and in the evening the food at terace is also very well and for german relations also cheap.
There is a Spa area in the 3 floor. I lived directl in the room on the oppside so i have used the yakooza pool and the sauna.
The Fitnessroom I found only at the last day. It seems only to be there that they could mentioned it in the elevator ;-)

The Staff was always friendly and the beer at the bar was well.
Internet was stable and in average speed ~5Mbit/s

Dear tealyc, First of all, thank you for staying with us! We understand your point on the parking slots, but we can assure you, that there are bigger spots underground, unfortunately, they may have been taken by our other guests at the time of your staying, we are sorry about it. As for the fitnessroom, next time we will make sure that you are informed about every service, that we provide ! We do hope that you will return soon! Warmest regards from all of us at Hotel Magyar Kiraly

This is an old hotel, but it has been renovated some time ago, and it certainly has some time before the next. The roms are OK. Beds are fine, but is you want a double bed, insist for it, as in my room the bed was two separate beds combined. Central air condition works alright. TV has channels from around the world. Bathroom is OK. There could be a better brand soap and shampoo. They are generic. The hotel offers Fitness and Wellness centers but I didn't try them. Breakfast has some variety and best of it, you can order a custom omelette with your choice of ingredients. All in all I had spent 3 nights in the 3rd floor and it was fine. ps. Rooms on the 3rd floor don't have regular windows, but instead roof windows. Beware if you need fresh air.

I liked this hotel very much.
Rarely happens that I donțt have complains about the hotel,
but this time everything was surprisingly well arranged.
Rooms are clean, cosy, everything is new, and I have found everything I needed,
and of course, was nicely surprised by the New Testament.
This city is a very important spiritual centre of the country, and you can feel it, especially when exploring historical sites and churches.

The hotel has it's own image, which coressponds to it's name.
Everything is on it's place, as for a hotel of that range, and some little surprises.

The breakfast is standard all-inclusive, the waiters are very nice.
Only thing is that there was no instructions how to use wellness, so it took time to understand how everything works.
Wellness area is big and relaxing.
The buidling itself is very impressive, I guess there is a summer terrace but it probably was closed.

The location is best for tourists, especially to those eho come for the first time,
it is in the walking distance from all main tourist places, churches, museums, cafes, the street is green and invites for a walk and have some coffee with a cake or an ice-cream at a cafe.

At the same time it is not noisy, if you cross the street you will have chance to walk in a green park.

Generally saying, everything is organised very well, I didn't find any big fault.
It was a very pleasant stay, I hope to come back.

This is the best hotel in Szekesfehervar - and the most expensive. Rooms are well appointed,. and comfortable, though as we only stayed for 1 night, we did not use the full facilities available. Buffet breakfast was good, and though some staff didnt speak much English, it was easy to muddle through.

We stayed here one night only, on the road for 2 weeks around Hungary, and heading to Lake Balaton. We were pleasantly surprised by this very well run traditional hotel, which is right in the town centre and has an attractive old facade. The receptionist was a lovely, helpful young woman who spoke great English. We were initially a little concerned to see they were setting up a big wedding (Saturday) but we needn't have worried - we had no noise issues whatsoever, and there was a nice atmosphere in the hotel throughout. Breakfast was one of our best ones in the 2 weeks of hotels - good coffee. The town itself is really beautiful. We were there in the 'super heatwave' - it was almost empty during the day - but oh my - it became very lively at night! Thoroughly recommend a stop here.

The hotel is located in the heart of Szekesfehervar with only minutes walk to museums, bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable and clean and the staff are very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a HUGE room with very little communists furniture, (should be upgraded)! In the bathroom the toilet cover was touching your back it had the tendency to close on you while you were using it. I found it immensely disturbing!

This hotel is excellent, first impressions were that it looked great from the outside situated in an old grand building and I was suitably impressed throughout the rest of my stay. The room although a bit smaller than other hotels I've stayed in on my trip was ample and had everything you might need. The reception staff were helpful and the hotel restaurant food is excellent. We ate outside and were able to watch the chef cook who presented us with the best looking dishes of our holiday, it also tasted great so we decided to eat there again in the evening. It was great that breakfast was included and as an English couple we were also happy with the range of choice available.

Hotel Magyar Kiraly has very good location close to city centre and it next build next to local theatre. Building of this hotel looks very nice and historical from outside, but don´t expect too much historical design inside or in your room. Rooms are spacious, clean and well functional. Reception stuff accommodating, but maybe a little bit reserved. Some nice smile lifts your mood after long trip. What is really good is hotel restaurant. I can recommend it to everybody! Also breakfast was very good, with wide selection. I consider for small disadvantage a parking place in front of the hotel. It is public one, I suppose, so no reserved and free parking places or hotel and parking itself is in bad condition. But is evaluation of the hotel and not parking place. So my full recommendation for this hotel.
