Nothing fancy, just a regular hotel close to the town centre.
Rooms are essential and not so big, prices are ok for the service.
Breakfast is good, although it closes early so you will need to wake up early and check out early.

The hotel is beautifully situated mid in the center square of Szekesfehervar just at the beginning of the central old town (which I did not get the chance to see due to tight business schedule). The interior is beautiful old style - with knights armor and weaponary - you almost feel the presence of old middle eve spirits :-)

The rooms are modernized but kept in a old looking style. Clean and spacious. And quite.

The hotel has a good restaurant which is also very cozy and here they also serve great brekfast in the morning.

The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel, very nice food although limited selection. Very nice front of house staff, especially a slim black haired lady ( Franni I believe) who’s service was always with a smile & helpful. Would stay again and would recommend. Ps the WiFi needs improvement.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historic but very comfortable hotel on the end of the city center mall. There are so many fabulous places to visit within walking distance, including restaurants, bars, museums, shops, and churches. Everything was very clean and the service was outstanding!

Hotel Magyar Kiraly is in the heart of Szekesfehervar. It is a in a beautiful old palace that has been very well restored. Our room was huge and had a great view. Big bathroom and all modern conveniences. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and bar/restaurant staff very accommodating.

Szekesfehervar is worth a visit. It was a beautiful town with lots of outdoor bars/restaurants and lots of locals enjoying the city. We had a great dinner at a nearby restaurants (Portovino) and had a great time. We would highly recommend the Hotel Magyar Kiraly as well as a visit to Szekesfehervar!

Modern hotel at the top end of the delightful pedestrianised area in Szekesfehervar. Delightful reception staff who could not do more for you. Car park a little hard to find but under the hotel and so very convenient. Good value bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast a highlight - Janos the chef on hand to cook omelettes, eggs etc. any way you want them

Good standard hotel with very good location.

Breakfast is ok, nothing special, bit narrow selection.

Nice terrace where you can have lunch and some refreshments

Gym is more a joke than a real gym, there are very limited selection of equipment.

Wifi is fast and has good coverage.

Everything was fine here, we spent here a wonderful weekend. The staff was helpful, they were prepaired for our questions with maps etc. (how to find the underground parking - this could be signposted in the future, but we found it easily after getting the turn-by-turn directions). By the way, for parking in the underground garage costs a little; you can easyly find the way from the parking garage to the reception, there is an elevetor too.
There is a wellness area that we did not use - the city gave us more interesting entertainments. The room was big enough and everything worked fine - no problems with beds, bathroom, toilets, lights, tv. Simply but fine, very comfortable.
The twin bed was very big and very convenient, the temperature was fine too, but there was a possibility to make the temperature lower or higher.
There was a stable free Wifi in the room, however it did not work in the restaurant.
The breakfast was more than good and enough. There was a wide range of meals: vegetables, meat, juices, coffee, eggs etc.
We had the impression the staff wanted that we enjoy our stay. And we enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is located in the city center, however it was very quiet. Nothing disturbed us. In the close proximity you can find many pubs, coffeehouses, ice cream shops, shops, art galeries and memorials.
After spending a good day we took a seat on the terrace in front of the hotel where we drunk a coffee and enjoyed the slow movement.

Stayed here several times before and, for better or worse, it remains a solid state hotel. Staff are a little awkward in the front desk – shifting to an alert state when they see someone coming, which means an awkward walk down the stairs while they wait doing nothing to say hello! Rooms are comfortable though and I found the hotel quite quiet even though it had a lot of people. The restaurant is not fantastic; okay in the evenings but I found breakfast to be a bit lacking – after one or two times I just started to have coffee and nothing else. Wifi was included and was reliable and strong in the room, important for work. Generally a good standard hotel of reliable service.

This hotel is located in the centre of town right on a beautiful pedestrian plaza which has an outdoor restaurant and fountain which attracts locals wanting to relax watching the children play in the water.

The hotel has all the amenities and services that we were looking for, lots of car parking in the basement, great restaurant, spacious well appointed rooms and excellent staff who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant in particular had delicious authentic meals that were very reasonably priced, the staff were multi-lingual and we had no problems only speaking English during our stay.

Our room was located on the third floor and had easy access via a quick elevator or stairs. The room looks very modern with three huge wardrobes, desk area with mini bar, nice sitting area and two comfortable single beds. The bathroom was spacious with shower over bath and large vanity area, shower gel/shampoo was attached to the wall in a dispenser and we had lots of fresh towels daily.

The hotel would be perfect for both business and leisure guests with major attractions like Bory Castle, St Istvan church and the shopping centre all within easy walking distance. You will not be disappointed.
