Not the best Novotel, quite old, but for sure one of the best choice for this town. Breakfast is average, but you have plenty to choose from. But a second time I would prefer breakfast in town. Excelent location.
The hotel is ideally situated and staff is welcoming. We did not have issues with parking (external or garage), although maybe on busy days I guess this could be a problem. On the negative side: the rooms are dated. This is 3 stars standard. Not 4. Also the air-conditioning was not functioning well. We had to open the window and the nearby road noise was making any attempt of sleeping tough. Overall fine if you are looking for a 3 star hotel.
I would like to thanks the help for the nightime waiter(Peter Csikos) He helped me with charger....i totaly forgot .i left home.. It was big help for me Excelelt customer service skil Nice and courtasy guy
Stayed with family for two nights. The room was clean, the breakfast was great and the location made it comfortable to explore the city. Most impoetantly the staff members were very friendly thoroughour our stay! We will definitely return soon.
With my family we were looking for an accomodation for only one night and this hotel was a perfect choice. Fast booking, very kind colleagues while I made some clarification over phone prior arrival. Check-in was fast and receptionist was very friendly. We were very satisfied with the room and its cleanliness. Beds are good, all of us have had a good sleep. Breakfast was good, some restriction rules have been made and kept due to Covid (e.g. upfront prepared and foiled plates with cold ham/salami and cheese, self-serving of drinks are not allowed), but staff is very kind and friendly. You can eat your breakfast also outside, using the terrace. In case of a need in the future, for sure we will choose again this hotel for our stay.
The booking department was really flexible and helpful with all the changes what we had to do due to the Corona regulations. (special thanks for Anita!) The restaurant also adapted to all hygienic rules now. Location is also perfect, city center just few minutes away. We had really nice time there.
- the Customer Service is really professional - Nice staff - Free Parking Outside and additionally you can park inside the hotel parking for 10€ - Nice small gym - City centre is 2 minutes walking by - Breakfast is fine
Staff were especially helpful and spoke excellent English to accommodate for my lack of Hungarian. Room was clean and included kettle, hairdryer and toiletries. Didn’t eat breakfast on this occasion. Hotel restaurant was just what I wanted after a long day of travel. Pleasantly surprised by them having a vegan option of a tofu noodle stir fry. Our luggage was held for the remainder of the day after checkout. Taxi about 10 mins to train station which the hotel helped by phoning for us.
Compared to it's name it was a disappointment. This hotel is not bad, it can be okay for a while, but I can not mention any really good things about it, except the location. The room was really narrow, the air circulation system had a little humming noise all the time, we saw some rust in the bathroom and even the toilet's flush button malfunctioned. The most annoying thing was a creaking noise coming from outside of our room in every few minutes (from early morning until late night). The breakfast costs 4000 HUF / person, which is a lot of money in Hungary (for 1000 HUF you can have a nice breakfast in a bakery, cafe included). The underground parking costs additional 3000 HUF / night even for guests. The staff were polite and helpful. For this money I am sure we can find a better place next time. So overall, it is acceptable, but overvalued.…
Room was cold upon my arrival. It took 2 hours to make it warm. No heating in the bathroom. Socialist feeling in the room. Unfriendly receptionists. Only positive was the breakfast which was very delicious. Breakfast till 11AM.
