This was a really unexpected nice surprise. We were a bit afraid as it has 2 stars but this was way better than so many other places we stayed in. It is really clean, spacious room. Free parking space in their garage. We took the option of breakfast. It was decent and at a really good price. The staff very nice. We stayed in transit just for 1 night.

My Fiance and I stayed at Vadaszkurt Pension for a few days while tracking down his family tree. We chose this Pension because the price was reasonable and it looked to be a nice place, we had no idea that we would come across the most warm and helpful staff we have ever experienced while traveling. My fiance explained why we were there and barraged the staff and the manager with questions about Szekesfehervar, the history, etc., and they went out of their way to help us make connections in the city and help us to learn about the mystery of his family tree. They were patient, warm, accommodating, and the Manager Tomas even personally drove us around in his car! The staff here made this experience unforgettable, and made it possible to track down the info we were looking for. We can not thank them enough! In addition the rooms had great amenities like a little kitchenette, and were comfortable and clean. The location is only a few blocks from the beautiful old town square too! The breakfast options were simple but tasty. We will never stay anywhere else when visiting! You can also email the staff directly for questions about your trip and booking info.

We stayed at the Pension for three nights at the beginning of our journey through Hungary. Very helpful staff and clean, quiet hotel. My boyfriend's daughers live in Szekesfehevar so we will most likely be returning for an other visit in the future. We would definitly stay here again.

We paid 50€ for a room that had two levels. The top level had a double bed and the bottom had a fold out couch. I booked via email months before and when we arrived, the friendly and professional clerk had candies for our kids. He recommended an excellent nearby restaurant as well. After a day in which 400 km took 10 hours by car, subway and train, this was an oasis. It was clean, well equipped and professionally run.

This pension is much like a hotel.. The room that my friend and I booked was very spacious and clean. There were two single beds pushing in to make a double, a powerful, hot shower with toilet and basin, and a fridge and microwave. There was also a TV in the room and 1 english channel!

The pension is in a residential area but don't be put off. The parks, shops and town centre are only a short walk away! We also had breakfast included in the price of our stay, which was from 6am-9am and we had to chose our time slot and order our food before hand, but this wasn't too much bother.

Easy walk from the train station. Nice staff. Computer with free internet in reception and free wi-fi in the rooms. Would recommend this place considering the price..

We needed some accommodation for a dental visit to Szekesfehervar. Stayed in an apartment here as two Adults and one child were in the party.

Absolutely delighted with this Hotel, its spotlessly clean, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom was a delight. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. The manager, Thomas is fluent in English and will help you in any way he can.

From the Hotel, its a brisk ten minute walk to the centre of town.

You wont find anything wrong here!

Bob

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights recently. We liked the kitchenette with microwave and fridge, especially since Hungarian hotels do not usually provide tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms.
The hotel is about a 15 minute walk straight down the road and over two pedestrian crossings to the "old town" and shops and a shopping mall and several restaurants and cafes. Also some museums and St. Istvan's Cathedral with its beautifully painted ceiling (viewed through locked glass doors when we went). Despite a fairly busy road nearby the hotel was quiet.
I liked the fact that there was parking opposite the hotel (and apparently in a courtyard behind the hotel which we didn't use) and free internet connection, also there was a Windows XP computer and internet in the reception for hotel customers to use. There is a Co-op nearby. I couldn't find the English tv channel mentioned in someone else's review.
A cooked breakfast was available and a selection of hot drinks were available at breakfast time from a vending machine and they weren't very hot. Our bedroom was nice and warm with outdoor temperatures between 1 and 6 degrees. The staff are kind and friendly and speak good English.

Nice and comfortable hotel with parking in the inner jard. Good breakfest. Friendly and attentive stuff. The price for the room may be lower. The hotel is not in the center of the city. But I have not qustions for hotel is it, I have questions to the city Szekesfehervar. In that city it is really hard to find the place with the native hungarian cuisine.

Very Nice hotel near the city centre, nice staff, kind and helpful, the rooms are big, very good for a family trip, and renewed. there is a very fast free wifi.
Breakfast has a good selection of food.
You can walk to the city centre or rent a bike for a very low price.
