Four of us friends from Australia did a motorbike tour: Hungary-Austria-Italy-Austria-Hungary. Szeged was our favorite place during our visit. Beautiful setting, plenty of history with a nice scale, so we could walk everywhere. The hotel is near in the hart of the city, only 2 minutes walk to the main square, and 100m from the river Tisza. The extremely friendly... More

I rolled into Szeged about 20:00 the night that the migrants were rioting at the Serbia/Hungary border. CNN, et al, had taken all the hotel rooms, I was getting desperate when I came across this place. They had a room so, I took it, no questions asked. It turned out to be a large room, in the turret corner of... More

City hotel is located in the center of the city, close to the main square and river Tisza. We rented the apartment on the 5th floor (elevator equipped), so called penthouse. The apartment was clean and big enough. Bathroom was really good. TV and Wifi in the room. Breakfast was simple but good (fruits, vegetables, joghurt, sausage, bread, cheese...) and... More

Four of us stayed in the penthouse, it was a great room and a beautiful view. We just stayed for one night, but it was a perfect place to be able to see all of the sites in Szeged! There are many beautiful buildings to see.

I don't know why I haven't come here before. This was the best family friendly hotel I tried in Szeged so far. For the best price among all. It is a small hotel, right in downtown of Szeged, perfectly close to everything. The staff was very friendly. We got a great apartment-style suit, two rooms open from each other. Both... More

We got all that we expected. Pretty big room, clean hotel, fair hospitality. Location is perfect and parking is free although there is lift garage and you can not reach the car by your own. We took breakfast and it worth 3.5 euro. It's classical one, but you can start your day with great espresso which they make. Many Hungarian... More

Our team stayed at this hotel in July for a world championships dragonboat competition. The hotel was really well located, clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was exactly what we needed. The owner of the hotel went out of his way to ensure that our team had a pleasant stay - even so far as... More

We decided to give this place a try, rather than a hotel. A panzio is usually more for longer term stays, and whose facilities are a bit more spare than a hotel. If you just need a good room at a good central location within the city, this is a more than adequate place to stay. The room that we... More
