We had a great time here. The room and also the bathroom were very clean, the owners are helpful people, so we enjoyed staying there. You have a free parking inside of the yard. Aquapolis is near to the hostel.

My son and I stayed in this guesthouse 3 times and it is a great experience :) The place is clean, the owners keep everything is perfect state. Zoltan (the son) is such a nice person, vey professional and will help you in every way possible. The guesthouse has a small, shared kitchen and there is a big fridge, microwave, toaster, water kettle, cups, plates and cutlery. The city center is 10 minutes walk and Aquapolis water park is a cross the street so the location is perfect. I definitely recommend this guesthouse :)

We are entering the fifth year of regular visits to this wonderful place. Details are the important factor of any good service and in Aquarius Vendeghaz special attention is payed to them. The amount of beautiful, perfectly maintained flowers in corridors, stairways and garden is incredible. Rooms are so warm, we really enjoyed these cold Christmas days..

This is the place we visit at least once a month, just the two of us or with 1, 2 or 3 kids. It's just across the street from Aquapolis, about 50m. The owners, Zoltan and his mother Susana are the kindest, honest people. Rooms are clean, warm in wintertime and very cozy. Common dining room is beautifully designed and equipped with everything needed for preparing a meal. Lots of flowers and garden plants everywhere in this big house. This is our happy place in Szeged.

It was very clean, comfortable and refurbished guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. The room and the bathroom were big enough for two persons. The city (restaurants, pubs) is 10 minutes walk from the house. Parking is ok, managing breakfast is a bit difficult because shop is also 10 minutes walk. Wifi is perfect. Worth to stay.

What a great experience. 2 nights with great location and value. Across the road from Aquapolis and 10 min walk to down down area. Rooms was very clean and spacious. Kitchen area to prepare food was useful for budget traveler. Family owned and operated which is always a plus. Thank you for the 2 thumbs up experience Aquarius guest house.

Very good location with closed private parking in own yard. Next to Aquapolis and 10 mins walk from Cathedral. Building is very well kept, modern with huge common kitchen and balcony. It was very ideal for us to stay here and walk to the Open Air Theatre performace to the Cathedral.All the main sights are in an easy walk away. The little sightseeing train stop is next to the building. Szeged is beautiful and has plenty of to see and do. Rooms are big (had nr 5 and 6) and very modernly furbished. Very clean, had a great stay, even though could not sleep due to the hot weather. Stuff is very friendly. Note: Not all the rooms are air conditioned and not clear at check in that you need to pay for the air con controller. (arrived back after midnight to the room and could not use the air con, 30 degrees in room).…

Top value. Nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds, furniture, etc. Small backyard for private parking and also a nice and big balcony. Aquaticum is across the street and city center is ~15min walk so we didn't used the cars at all during our stay. Very friendly hosts (we have received maps for the city for free) and also a small welcome-gift ;) Highly recommended place.

By far the best accommodation in Szeged. You will realy get more than you paid for, unlike the 4 stars hotel from across the road. Perfectly clean, warm and bright rooms, kind owners and, most important - Aqua park is just across the streat. Perfect!

For the price this is the best place to stay in Szeged. There are only 4 rooms and they are renovated, modern, and clean. There is also a clean and well equipped community kitchen. The aquapark and spa and next door which is excellent, and the city center is a 15 minute walk across the bridge. Parking is free and secure in their gated courtyard. The owners are nice and friendly, with good enough English language skills. Sometimes their response to requests(such as getting a fan) was slow, and sometimes they completely forgot(as when we asked to have our shower door fixed), but that is my only complaint. There isn't much else to say. There are nicer hotels with better locations(Hotel Soleiil) but they cost twice as much and you have to deal with tram noise. Go ahead, stay here and relax in the spa across the street.…
