Nice hotel as base for sightseeing or buissness trip. City is nice and it is not so far from Vienna. My room was clean. There is no spectacular equipment but price to equipment is good. Breakfests were also good.

We can recommend this hotel. Big rooms, excellent breakfast, co-operative reception, private parking. Nearby the center of Sopron. Sopron is a small city with many historical buildings. We can reccomend Gambrinus restaurant with typical "Czech" food called "bramboráky".

Dear Guest, Thanks for the great review and the encouraging words. Gambrinus is certainly an excellent choice! One of our 2016 goals is to update our kitchen and have one of the best food in town. Our efforts start to bear fruit according to our guests, but we are still improving our facilities too. We hope next time we can...

Upon arrival I was stunned by the beauty of the building and its good location - it's a stone's throw from the old city centre. However, our room was way below the 4-star expectations. The bathroom must have remained from the 90s with an old shower head that splashed water everywhere. Some unremovable stain on the bathtub just made it...

Dear Guest, Thanks for the great review and the encouraging words. We are continuously improving both our kitchen and the whole property. We recommend our loyalty program, which automatically ensures that we lower the price of our guest at arrival if the daily prices decreased since the booking and even a free room upgrade if our occupancy permits it. We...

This place is a maze of rooms and halls - it's massive. Though a little dated it is a classic and charming. The staff are very good with competent English skills. The food is wonderful, especially breakfast. The wifi is sketchy in the rooms but decent in the foyer. Hard to go wrong, but make sure you check the prices...

This hotel is well situated for exploration of the old town. A good clean room and a very good breakfast. Choice os evening meal was limited but always good. Staff were always helpful. Towels were changed every day. Inclusion of the use of all the Spa facilities was a real bonus.

I had a very nice dinner in Pannonia restaurant. Food was typically Hungarian and wine was excellent. The dining room has kept the glory of the past even if it has been refurbished. Service was nice and efficient

So close to old town area, wonderful old style hotel, super nice staff! There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel and the entire area is safe at night and quiet. The breakfast buffet is hard to beat, some great choices and the quality of the hot food is great.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. It is an easy 15 minute from the train station and very close to the sights of this lovely town. The hotel is indeed luxurious and the staff friendly. As I had an early morning train to catch they even prepared a packed breakfast for me.
