The hotel is located on the main Promenade which has very little car traffic & has pubs/restaurants in either direction for many blocks. The hotel is located close to the harbor where you can take a lake ferry or if you like walking you can a little further & walk around the town downtown area which also has many restaurants/pubs... Lovely hotel located in the middle (I believe during summer busy) street with lot of restaurants. In mid of September many of them were closed. Convenient parking behind the hotel. Private access to the beach. Spa was nice, however we didn't use it. Rooms spacious enough even with baby crib (we had tripple rooms), with balcony. Only strange thing was... More

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel La Riva. I think that 3 stars is not enough. We rate it a 4 star hotel. It's placed directly between the party street and the lake Balaton. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were big and light and clean. We'll definitely recommend people to go here.

The food is not tasty ... cheeky owner who, after hear the criticism an insult to guests. He says the guests are none. I do not recommend . In Siofok is a lot of nice friendly restaurant but this I suggest a wide berth

As soon as we sat down we, without asking, water for our dogs. We ordered schnitzel cordon bleu and it was excellent. Of course they had the Hungarian liquer unikom wich is far better than Jägermeister. We had two wait half an hour for the food but it was worth it.

I had nothing to do with the Hotel so my opinion refers only to the restaurant. The food was quite good quality and it was tasty. But... Be advised always to check the terminal and the amount of money typed by the staff. Ask for the receipt. I don't like giving doubled tips! I'll never come back there again.

Good beds and surprisingly quiet despite being on the "bar street" at least for us that had a room with windows towards the lake. Kind of strange layout on our 3 bed room but still very OK. Good AC and fridge. Both desperately needed as it was around 35 degress when we were there. Breakfast nothing special but they made... More

We went to Siofok, on Balaton lake, for a short stay. It was an amazing experience also thanks to the location of this hotel, which granted the private access to the lake and free parking. The hotel and the room were quite clean and the staff was nice. Breakfast looked quite "cheap" and nothing special and the hotel is a... More

Stayed here 4 days in June'15. The hotel is very nice and clean. It's located just in 100 m from the lake from the backyard and very close to many cafes and restaurants (I would say it's located on the 'bar' street), so it's not a problem to find dinner there. Our room was big enough and had all the... More
