So first of all, the owning company has a smaller accommodation called Wolf Panzió as well, so be aware! First of all: The room was dated, 90's style. Not up to 2020 3* standard, even in Hungary. The staff is extremely rude, do not care at all. The food is mediocre. But the nicest part is coming just now: At the check-in the receptionist refused to accept the payment method we discussed beforehand!!! The consumption in the restaurant can only be paid by cash and cannot be paid together with the room. At the check-in we received our bill split in 3 separate bills each with different company names on it! (It is illegal, I do not need to be tax controller for knowing this.) Can you imagine standing at the reception, you are supposed to pay but you are unable because they do not accept that was said they would accept??? What is happening in this place??? I know it's kind of cheap but come on...

Well, I must be honest I love this place and this town. I'm Hungarian but I stayed here with my Turkish boyfriend and we had a good time here. The room was clean, big and the air inside was really fresh. The breakfast was wide range even we are vegetarian we could eat from at least 3 different dishes. Service in the restaurant were amazingly kind. All in all, it exceeded my expectation for a 3 star hotel. Also it's only a few steps to all the landmarks and attractions.

Even we pretty liked the hotel, food and staff a very big shock appeared as we returned. We were blamed that WE FORGOT to pay a tourist tax and were required to transfer it. Sure, this is not a problem of guests if a receptionist didn´t do her/his job properly but we were willing to pay for this. Tranfer fees were pretty high but we were not willing to cover them. After couple of emails changed (they still insisted on full payment or to come to their hotel again!) we transferred remaining amount (just around 3 EUR after deduction of fees). Was it really worth of it? This is a reason we never return back to this hotel even it was not bad at all.

Service in hotel restaurant was a real nightmare. We had a feeling that we are guests, but somebody who are just bothering waitress. She was very unpleasant. We haven't seen such a bad service for many years. By entrance they have price list with much lower prices (they said old prices) than in menu.Meal was ok,but not very delicious.
