FROM AUGUST: HUNGUEST BÜK! From 31st August, only the renovated hotel (East wing) accomodates guests, while the west wing is under reconstruction. The two Hunguest hotels of Bükfürdő, Hunguest Hotel Répce and Gold, which are separated only by a densely vegetated park, aleady exploited the advantages of cooperation, however, due to the differences in quality this could not work in any fields until now. As a result of the development program of our chain of hotels, Hunguest Hotel Répce has been completely renewed, thus with offering higher quality of services, only one hotel, HUNGUEST BÜK opens its gates in August, awaiting its guests to satisfy in two buildings, with similarly high quality of rooms. To experience healthcare and wellness services, Bükfürdő Thermal & Spa is still accessible directly. This is complemented by an outstanding fitness room and sauna gallery with finnish and infra saunas, as well as with a steam bath and a sunbathing terrace. Since Bükfürdő charms numerous families with children thanks to its attractions, we formed a child room, in which our animator entertains our youngest guests with diverse programmes and games. In the new premium double rooms one child under 12 can be accomodated, besides that, variable family rooms (up to 4 rooms can be interconnected to each other), and deluxe rooms with two half rooms and a bunk bed can serve the comfort of families with children. The new location where guests can share their pleasent experiences and have a conversation is the stylish bar in the hotel's lobby.

This is the only hotel that is connected directly with the Spa in Bük via a covered walkway. This makes a visit to the Spa very convenient. The Hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, although it needs some work to upgrade it to modern standards.

These are what I am not expected for 456 EUR (3 nights) in a four star (?) hotel: bathrobe with holey, broken dryer on the balcony, spotted chairs in the restaurant, watered-down orange juice, waiters in jeans, curved fork (see photo).

After a long, exhausting trip to the hotel the recepcionist at the check in was ridiculously slow so we had had like 10 mins for the dinner and the stuff expected us to have our dinner in 10 mins (we already indicated our late arrival asking for some other dinner options, which they offered before)... The guy at the wellness section was very rude, it was very tiring for him to grant any request, you could see it on his face. The rooms are very average for a wellness hotel, such as the food, no amenities, there are so many better Hunguest Hotels in Hungary! The spa is pretty small, most of the stuff we met were not polite enough. Hotel is full of elderly people. The only nice thing is the closeness and the corridor to the Bükfürdő Health and Adventure Center. We are not going back for sure!

Service of this hotel could be better - during our visit there joined some bus travel groups and staff was quite overwhelmed by so many different requests. Also "climbing up" with elevator (3 elevators available) took sometimes 10 minutes and more getting into 7th level. But room was very nice quite and end of floor with nice panoramic view. Thermal water perfect and super fully covered access from hotel to the bath (optimal also during winter season). Maybe we will come back during autumn hoping for less people. Very relaxing was small wellness centre with SPA directly in hotel

In my experience it is a very average wellness hotel. Basic things such as amenities kit and slippers are missing from the bathroom. The bathrobe is old and worn out. Towels looked very used. The spa is too small and crowded. Sauna was not hot enough, it was around 40 degrees warm only. The check out time is 10AM but already at 9AM the cleaning lady knocked my door to check my minibar. I felt like I am not welcome in the hotel. As far as I remember buffet dinner is open until 10PM but already before that most of the food was gone. The waiter said they cannot refill some of the food because it is all gone already. During my check out I asked the receptionists about what to see in the area before I drive home. None of them had any idea. I don't think i will come here again. There are far better 4 star hotels in Hungary.

The hotel is co located with a hot/mineral water wellness/bath and fun park about 35 miles south of city of Sopron. The hotel is a 4 star establishment with a restaurant and a wellness section that has a smaller pool, two hot tubs and saunas. There is a enclosed corridor that leads to the water park and hot water pools. This area is separate from the hotel in terms of cost but one section usually allowed to hotel occupants (as it is included in the price). The hotel was clean and the staff helpful. It has outdoor parking and it is away from populated areas. My real complaint was the restaurant. The waiters are bus boys and servers in one. Sometimes we had to wait 10-15 minutes before they showed up. In all fairness I should note that most people buy rooms with breakfast and dinner included so there is a crowd!

We send one week in the hotel. We had very good time. The hotel has direct entrance to local Termal pools complex in the price to first zone( there are 3 zones) Good food in the restaurant. Very nice service ( not the best english but it is not far from Austrian border so everybody speaks german). Rooms cleaned everyday.

Arriving in the evening - two elder women going to a spa- no page to carry the luggage. It was obvious too heavy for us! The room big , the bed not a double bed but two single ones pushed together. In the bath a slight odeur of old male urin! The safe didn't workThe restaurant! It closes at 8.30, but at 8 the tables were made allready for next mornings breakfast, - spanish, italians or greeks will stay hungry. The food is anything but healthy based mainly on pork, the grillboy did not understand any word of not hungerian and was dripping with strange ignorence lots of oil taken from the porkchops on the chicken brests he was grilling wich offending for people who do not eat pork. Waiters would be running arround wery unfriendly taking fast your half full plates, tissues or forks and knives away, after protesting they will drop loudly the plates back on your table, we ordert a large bottle of water, they brought 2, unscrewt,so we could not take them to the room.the music in the evening is life, an untalented guy with a hamond piano. Where is the famous hungarian gipsy music? The location of the hotel is perfect, because you can reach the spa through a long path which makes it very comfortable. That is the reason we might come again, but it is such a great pity to have a nice house and lead it with such ignorance, no wonder it is full of former east europe groups, people who are used to this indifference .

Rooms comfortable and clean, direct access to spa convenient. Breakfast OK but buffet dinner awful, very poor choice and quality, and sometimes also quantity with many items running out. Ridiculously early evening closing time in restaurant. Service in restaurant slow and disappointing. Reception staff very unhelpful and contrary to advertising, did not speak English. Replacement of towels and bathrobes at hotel pool awkward due to attendant's surly attitude.
