Detailed Reviews
I stayed here for a total of 4 nights, £5 a night which was perfect so was expecting it to not be great, the rooms were clean and I was amazed at the underfloor heating and how warm the rooms were at night, had a fear I would need to wear extra layers to bed. Budapest was very quiet and was worried about it being late at night if I decided to stay in but I could easily sleep at 11. I did the boat party which was so worth it and it was a 5 min walk from a lot of clubs and also the centre. Would definitely stay again.
One criticism I do have is the cleaners came in while I was in one day and she literally waved the mop one stroke over the floor, missed 99% of the floor, but wasn’t dirty and horrible like other places I stayed in

On arrival I found the hostel very close by, after pressing the buzzer and walking upstairs I came to the reception after a short wait I was checked in by a guy who was very pleasant. After paying my €10 deposit for my room key another member of staff to me to my room. She showed me how to work the lift, where the kitchen was, where to smoke, how to use my locker (with your room card electronically) and asked if I was coming out to party at all. Very pleasant when I turned her down. My room of six beds had 5 people the first night and 4 the next, they were all very polite and said hello as we passed. The facilities in the room were good, beds clean, light, plug socket and shelf at your bed. (If your light was on it lit up your area very well but didn’t encroach on other guests. The locker worked very well each time by tapping your room key. I never used the kitchen or hotel bar so can’t comment on these. Towel rental is €2. On check out I handed over my key was given my deposit back and wished on my way. Very pleasant stay. Very clean hostel. Only recommendation would be they put curtains up for each bed cubicle to give you a little privacy as the way they have fitted the room this would just put this place at the top. I would have happily paid more for this hostel. (Yes the music from the club downstairs is loud! But close your window and put the air on on and it’s not too bad. I stayed on a Monday & Tuesday night and the club closed at 1.30am anyway and was very quite after this). Wish I took photos to show how clean and well decorated the room was.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were allowed to leave our bags off prior to check-in. The room itself was pretty large with seven sets of bunkbeds but there were enough bathroom and shower facilities available that you were never left waiting.
It was easy to make friends both in the room and at either the rooftop bar (which has swing seats and a table tennis table which is free to use) or the ground floor bar (which is much larger and is open to the general public. I was threatened outside of this bar but the hostel itself felt very safe and secure.
The location of the hostel is also great. You're a reasonably short walk from a wealth of sightseeing locations and there's a public water font nearby at the synagogue which is great for refilling your water bottles (especially helpful for us as we visited during the heatwave).
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Budapest.

Ok in a nutshell this is a good party hostel. I would say though you need to be realistic with your expectations like when staying at any hostel and review the place for what it is. Theres no point comparing it to a hotel. Yes its loud and yes there some places that could do with a bit of extra scrubbing but it's a good all rounder with some excellent positives like its location. Its walking distance to all the ruin bars. The rooms are cool. We had a 4 bed privates. The sleeping cubicles are great as you get you're own personal power outlet and locker. The price is great therefore you can spend you're saved money elsewhere. Moreover the downstairs bar/gig venue is brilliant when you get back from a night of partying and fancy a couple more beers and a dance. Oh and there is everything you need at the desk regarding booking tours. We done the pub crawl and booze cruise through the hostel. Both good! Book it, give it a go and enjoy. I think this place would particularly be good for very large groups

During my visit, I had the pleasure of staying in a private 6-person room with my friends, and I must say it was a well-maintained and comfortable accommodation. It's worth noting that in these private rooms, you'll need to request assistance from the reception to ensure your lockers are functioning correctly, as they seem to assume everything will be secure otherwise. There were occasional miscommunications between the reception and the activity staff, which at times led to some confusion regarding our planned activities. Despite this, our overall experience was very fun.

Went with my 3 best friends and we had a sick time partying. There is a bar/club downstairs the hostel where you can meet a lot of people and listen to some good music. 2 nights had a live band. Drinks are cheap.
Big big shootout to Regina who was the kindest one there and who was always helpful. A big part of our positive experience is thanks to her and my 3 friends and I all agree about that. 4 stars because not all of the members were as friendly and some were really cold, you would feel like you're annoying them when asking for information. We stayed twice 2 days in a week, and the first room was dope but the second one much smaller l, colder, and a bit smelly.

I stayed there over the weekend (2 nights). When reading the review and being warned that parties are to be loud and no night sleep would be possible, I imagined a sort of underground hostel. To my surprise the rooms were really clean, bed comfortable. Guests are provided with a locker that open/closes with the magnetic keycard you use to enter your room. The hostel itself offers a wide range of drinking social events, pub crawls and SParty (party in thermal baths) - just make sure to book it earlier in the day.
As for the noise and parties - there was a concert in the bar that is attached to the hostel - it is not as loud as many people describe.
It is also close to the city center, famous "ruins" bars, and many restaurants.
Overall, a positive impression.

+1
This place is not bad for price and the cleaners always come in and the bunk beds are actually decent and rooms look fresh.
However, there are a few issues.
1. There are no hairdryers in the toilets and there’s only a few at reception and they’re always taken.
2. The DOORS slam shut so loud and my bed was right by the door, so it was horrendous.
3. The room was also FREEZING cold too.
4. It’s also not super social weirdly enough.
The hostel does invite you to a boat party once a week and apparently does bingo, however, as the bar downstairs is so large and more party type it isn’t that intimate in a social setting. This was the only place where we didn’t really make friends with our hostel room and I can understand why.
However, it definitely is a party hostel and we made friends regardless on nights out.
Would probably return!

I stayed in this hostel for 3 nights in a room with my 5 other friends, the room was clean and quite modern which was great. Some rooms don't feel as nice as others but I don't think that matters that much. Nice bar on the bottom floor and terrace at the top which was handy for prees. Amazing location which was walking distance to many of the great bars and clubs in Budapest. It was great value for money considering it was £35 for 3 nights and it had an amazing atmosphere.
Only downside we found is that unless you leave the window open (which you wont want to do if your room is facing the courtyard), the room will smell bad pretty quickly.
Overall a pretty good hostel for people looking to party (the noise goes on till the morning).

The hostel offers a really nice standard for its low price: modern design, friendly staff, wonderful location and clean conditions. The staff showed us around the place, was happy to anwser any questions we had and even invited us for a party. Remember though to bring your tower, or you can rent them for €1.5 at the reception. Fully recommend.

Hi, Yes, you can borrow one at the reception :)
It's fully secure. There are lockers in the room and they provide you with passes to open them. You can also only enter the hostel with a key card.
Yeh - the bar and club has a separate public entrance; the hostel is accessed via a side door which is secure.
Hey,
The Hostel is in the old jewish district, in the center of Budapest.
I'm sure if you just email them they can sort that out for you.
