We found this place by accident and it turned out to be the perfect place to stay in Budapest. In the middle of the mini opera house area and on the edge of the inner city, it is convenient to everything by walking or public transportation. The rooms have been recently remodeled and the common kitchen features a washing machine and dishwasher. Brigitte was very helpful with information about Budapest and the housekeeper made us feel like our grandmother was taking care of us. Absolute recommendation and the place we will stay if we come back to Budapest.

I stayed with my girlfriend in budapest and we enjoyed the city very much.
We were only disappointed by the behavior of the owner:
1. I booked a room with private bathroom but it hasn't any bathroom! Instead of to say sorry he just said: we are sold out and no one have ever complained for this reason. I said: you gave me a room in front of the kichen with the bathroom beside: do you know the meaning of the word privacy?
In my opinion if you cannot say sorry, I mean, only sorry, you should change job instead of receiving people.
2. An advise for the owner: put more details about the rooms! If I book a room with bathroom by booking.com I pretend a room with its bathroom in and not out, if you gave to the guests another thing is a Fraud.
3. The owner could have found the right solution for us but instead of being arrogant writing threatening email: "this my property! I hope it is clear!
Sorry but I can't recommend this guesthouse n'7 to' anyone!

Arrival was a bit peculiar - as this is a guesthouse there is no reception, so when we rang the doorbell we were met by a woman who didn't speak any English but who motioned for us to follow her inside, gabbling on the phone. However, Krisztian met us shortly afterwards and let us in. He was very helpful in explaining about the area and showing us the kitchen and then to our room. We only used the kitchen for breakfast cereal while we were there, but it certainly looked fairly well-equipped.

The room was large and newly-decorated. Thought had clearly been put into decor, which was coherent but not overwhelming. It was quiet at night. The bathroom was large and the shower strong and easy to adjust.

The guesthouse itself is near the opera house, about ten minutes' walk from the main bar streets, and a little further to the main square. It is three minutes' walk from the nearest underground station, which is on the line that goes to Scezchenyi baths, the largest in Budapest.

We had a delightful stay here, and would happily stay here again.

Firstly, as the name says, this is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so if you are okay with this, then you have found a slice of loveliness in Budapest.
Kriztian is a brilliant host. You have every ammenity you need in the room or kitchen. You have Cafes outside your door and you are a max 20 min walk from everything.

We, a group of nine, had one whole floor of this lovely guesthouse. The bedrooms were all beautiful with homely touches, the common area just ideal with every mod con, arrival and check-in painless - perfect in every way!

There is no big pot in the kitchen which limits a bit cooking for few people or just something bigger. There was no lock in bathroom, but that's not a big case.

The owners are really nice and helpful. The hotel is really nice placed, in the very centre of the city, everything is really close (shops, bars, etc.). Everything is very clean and modern-looking. The room was very cosy. I can definitely recommend this hotel. At first we were a bit afraid because of small amount of recommendations, but it turned out that everything was perfect and the hotel just started business.

Room Tip: The room close to street is more noisy, because of bar downstairs.

Sorry, Holly, I missed your message. Check-out is around 11 am. You can check out later - I mean you can leave your luggage in the Guesthouse. If there is no another guest arriving to the room than you can stay in the room longer. No need for deposit but if you would like to book you can use paypal or we probably need your bank card details. You can book on our facebook site as well. Kind regards, Krisztian

Hi, there is air conditioning in every room so the temperature is like what you set. All rooms have windows that open. Beds are more like hard but we never had any complaints about the beds. There are 20 flights of stairs from street level - cca 3,5 meters level difference.
