Every bed had lots of privacy thanks to the curtains that were attached to each bed. It is because of this that the experience of sleeping in a large mixed dorm was way more comfortable. The atmosphere in the hostel was great, especially at breakfast time when everyone was sitting around the big table in the kitchen. The breakfast itself was simple but had everything you needed(even eggs) and great coffee by the way. The metro is very near so the location is great. The disadvantage is that you had to walk a lot of stairs to get to the hostel.

Large room, large shower but the water had probably a lot of limestone and other irritants so much that my girlfriend
and I became blond at the end of the holiday, and I suggest to male available some eye drops because
the eyes after the shower immediately became very reddened and swollen,
as an Italian I really appreciated the presence of the bidet,
lack of privacy because we had two windows that didn't even close completely
and we had only one transparent white curtain available, and that was a passage area and everyone could see us inside.
We thank the honesty of those who welcomed us and warned about the possibility
of receiving unexpected visits: "thieves and clochards" and for safety they also wrote it inside the room, just right on the wall
indicating the exact point from which they would enter. Good luck!

They had a sale at the time I was staying there and I only paid 1 euro for a night! Doesn't get any cheaper I think. And it was hands down one of the best hostels I ever stayed at. Super nice reception area, clean and spacious room, clean bathroom ensuite, lots of privacy cause of the curtains on the beds. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was quiet during the night. And breakfast included! I'll definitely be coming back.

Nice hip place to stay. I did not realize I had made a mistake on the booking dates for my reservation, and the manager happened to be on site at the time of my check-in. He very graciously made the adjustments back to my original booking without charging me extra, despite the season being busy for the international music festival.
I arrived the evening of a free pasta bolognese dinner. The breakfasts were amazing- veggies, cereals, toast, fruit, and juice. I stayed in an all-girl room and the girls were very nice. The bathroom was not the cleanest, but the bedding was. I liked that each bed had an outlet and there was a communal kitchen area with a fridge.
Thank you for a wonderful stay! Also centrally located :)

Is a good enough place to stay for for few nights or just one.

If you are planing to visit Budapest and you don’t want to spend so much money in a hotel or Airbnb cuz you will be hanging around all day I truly recommend you this hostel. Is really cheap, clean, breakfast included and a good service, the receptionists are friendly and helpful.

I stayed in a 4bed dormitory, sharing the toilet/bath (actually was really clean, talking about the floor, walls, mirror, the white color of the toilet and everything) but my roommates were pretty messy (but this doesn’t have nothing to do with the hostel).

The bed was really confortable. You can also rent or get a towel and locked at the reception for a very cheap price. The breakfast is good enough for a hostel and is open till 11am also the checkout is at that time.

In general is an acceptable hostel. It location is pretty good, very near from the city center and very near from the famous Hero’s Square, The Horror House, Oper and many other good places to visit. 2 minutes walking from the oldest metro line in Europe, right there you have also the tram 4&6.

We stayed in 15 countries last summer. 8 countries this summer. Worked in hotels for a long time. Never any issues until now. As educated as we are about bedbugs I am not happy with the hostels response to this issue. I have bites from head to toe. The hotel wrote me back pretty defensive about the issues they have with bedbugs. Sounds like it’s an ongoing issue and they aren’t proactive enough to look after their guest. Bedbug bites can show up many days after visiting and some travellers bouncing around a lot might not be able to pinpoint where they got the bites. After every checkout they should be checking each mattress and doing other proactive measures like spraying the rooms. You can’t wait until someone reports before you do something. On top of bedbugs the rooms were very very hot. No curtains on windows. Only good thing was location. Don’t stay here !!

I stayed in this hostel during my trip. The location is really perfect. But the room was not same as shown on photos. Not really clean and big. Beside, the breakfast is not so rich even there was not any cheese. But it is really located in city centre and there is a metro and tram station. It was my first experience to stay in a hostel. If you come to the room just for sleeping it is enough and you do not need to pay extra charges.

From what I know the 4 beds Ensuite bedroom is € 17.60 per person per night. They have some Double room with double bed. But the price is not disclosed. My guess is it could be around €20.00 euros per person. The Bathroom is next to your room. Best to book the 4 beds ensuite, and you and your partner, could just be the only people in the room. The price will still be only €17.60 euros for each of you. Checking is from 14.00 pm and checkout is 11.00 am. Breakfast is free from 7.30 am till 11.00 am. Hope this is of some help to your plan.
