My spouse and I, from Mexico, visited eastern Europe recently for a combination of work and leisure. We were mostly pleased with the hotel itself which was spacious and in a quiet and safe location, walkable to shopping centers and important landmarks such as Parliament and Buda Castle. Climate control was good, and we slept well thanks to the blackout...

My son and his family live in Budapest and as we visit often, I was always looking for a place to stay that is closeby and yet would allow me the freedom to come and go as I please. Budapest is a wonderful tourist city and as many times as I have visited, there is always something new to see....

Stayed for a few days. Really nice place, the services were good. And the receptionist, Csenge I think was her name, is very helpful and great with the guests. The rooms are spacious and nice location.

My usual hotel in Budapest was unavailable, so I found E&G on hotels.com. It's a wacky looking building! But apartments are spacious, modern and well equipped. I was arriving late, so called the hotel - which was just as well, because for some reason my booking had been refused - but hotels.com had not advised me (they eventually sent me...

We stayed in the hotel for couple of days, the hotel is perfect for large companies (3 rooms for 6 people in each appartment + kitchen). Hotel is located in the city center, once you walk down the street to the river, you'll see beautiful Budapest Parliament. The administrator was very attentive and welcoming. Hotel's architecture is impressive!

The staff was very polite and helpfull. The location is near the castle and near a central metro station if you want ta pass...

Stayed here for 2 nights during our weekend in Budapest. This is not a hotel, just a couple of apartments to rent, but we were totally fine with it. Reception was opened until 20pm and receptionists were very kind and ready to help with everything. Our apartment was really huge (large bedroom, kitchen and bathroom) and fully equipped; we liked...

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighborhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
