Enjoy your stay in Budapest!
Amazing stay. We have been staying for about 4 nights in a superior suite that had all the comforts we needed! Swimming pool and the sauna were perfect after a day walking around Budapest. Position is also nice because you can easily walk to the main attractions of the city.
Very tidy hotel, good location, acceptable pricing, spacious rooms, very suitable for businessmen. It is very important that the hotel has a parking space under the hotel. It also has a restaurant that has mostly local food. The downside of the restaurant is the small selection of beer. Personal is very friendly. I recommend it!
I stayed at Queen's Court for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean. Not too fancy for being a 5 star to be honest and a little bit dated but overall it was a nice stay. The hotel has a beautiful pool area, but its access is right in the main corridor so it is a bit unpleasant to walk with your bathrobe in plane sight of the reception area. We didn't try the Chess restaurant but they give you a little voucher for a coffee which is a nice little touch.
I will start off being positive. The hotel is a lovely building set back off the main busy street. The room I had was a suite which was nice and spacious. It is a bit dated I have to say. The shower is a pain as if you’re under 5ft 8 you can stand underneath it. Over that height forget it and you have to hand held it to wash yourself. I’m 6ft 2. The shower screen is useless and it actually floods the bathroom . So that really needs updating. The gym is small with most of the cardio machines not working but minimal exercise is possible with the free weight. Swimming pool is fine, not very big but you can swim a couple of lengths. Jacuzzi is nice and the sauna is very small, probably max 3 people at a time. Breakfast was good and I actually love the surroundings and the atmosphere in that room. Very 1920s feel to it and the music makes the atmosphere. Staff are ok. The guys don’t have a lot say to you but the young lady who works there is very smiley and friendly. I’ve also stayed at the Corinthia around the corner which is most defo a 5 star hotel. In comparison this is nearer to a 3 star, 4 at a push.…
First of all I’m confused to some negative reviews calling this a 3* hotel ha This hotel was Perfect for me I wanted to get away for some tranquility and pamper. The hotel offered just that. The spa area is where I spent most my time in the evening I ate at chess which was attached to the hotel the food was amazing. Staff were very polite the only criticism I have is the man that massaged me was little bit too complimentary of my body and made me feel uncomfortable. I will be returning again the room was very comfortable and the shower was powerful !! No complaints
