Reception. Pleasant receptionist. Good English. To get into the building you have to press 05 on the key pad but if the receptionist has left the office then you will be kept waiting.just keep buzzing. hotel entrance is between two restaurant/pizza places. Once checked in you get a room key with a fob on so that you can then let... More

Firstly. The staff were great. Very helpful. Do not try and get in before 2pm. They won't let you as this is a very busy place but they do have luggage storage. Try and get a safe deposit box as soon as you get there as they only have a few which was annoying. 8 from memory. Buzz from downstairs... More

Arrived in Budapest at -18 covered in glistening snow, looking like Swarovski crystals, got to the hotel, it was clean, warm and welcoming. If your looking for 5* luxury this is not for you. Beds comfy, room spotless, cleaned everyday, staff friendly, it's local to all transport, faces a seedy bar but there's plenty of local bars to be found,... More

Majoituimme täällä perheeni kanssa 10 yötä kesäkuussa 2016. Pyysin etukäteen huoneistoa hiljaisemmalta puolelta, parvekkeella ja pesukoneella. Kaikki toiveemme toteutettiin. More

Visited the Agape Hotel with a group of friends for a weekend stay. The location is great, close to the city centre and walking distance to many of the great bars and restaurants. There is a bar/burger restaurant next door which was pretty good as well. The apartment we had was big, had two floors, 3 double bedrooms, a toilet,... More

We stayed for five nights. The apartments are nice and there is enough space for five people. The staff was very quick and helpful in solving small problems that we encountered. The place is close to public transport and for the escape room hunt we did, it was perfectly situated.

Nice big room with all amenities, close to the subway and nightlife. Flatscreen TV, bathtub, big fridge, good bed... I stayed only one night but would certainly consider this place on a next trip to Budapest.

We booked a studio apartment with double bed and sofa bed but when we turned up we were overwhelmed by how much better it was than we could imagine. It actually had two double beds in separate rooms and a sofa bed and a single bed. The quality of furniture throughout was excellent as well as kitchen facilities and bathroom.... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, the place is good, can't complain about anything. Free WiFi and strong connection. Shower was great. Apartment is fully equipped if you need to use it. Only local language TV channels. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Metro is just a short walk away. Reception staff very helpful and reception is manned... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
