You have to see past the dated decor, as it does what it says on the tin really. It's 3 stars, more than adequate, and it was very clean. Staff were very helpful too. The only problem is it's location, if we were ever to go back to Budapest, we would get a hotel a lot nearer to the sights....

We went for a very last minute 4 day break to Budapest and picked this hotel purely because it was so very cheap. It may be up in the hills... but the public transport is excellent, and you can get down to Moskva Ter (the hub for loads of trams and buses) on the comfy modern buses in about 20...

When we booked the Agro Panorama for our first trip to Hungary we wanted a combination of price and location to fit a fairly low budget without going as far as shared accommodation or facilities. It fitted our requirements admirably with a pre-booked transfer getting us from the airport in 30 minutes, and the initial impression of the room being...

The hotel was 50mins from airport and 20 mins bus ride into moscow square were you can join the metro and the main tram system. deffinatley not for the elderly or unfit, but the view was excellent from the top floor. The room we were given was grubby and was on the back ,not a pretty view of unkept gardens....

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Hotel Agro in July and we had a great time, the hotel is really good value for money and was definately better than we had expected. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good english. The room was clean and had great views of the city. The only problem with this hotel...

Once we had managed to find our way around the transport system, this hotel was very convenient for getting into the city. Perched high on the Buda Hills, it had beautiful views over the city. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast adequate although items ran out because of huge numbers of tour groups. Rooms were basic but comfortable and clean.

I have just returned from a trip of about a week at Hotel Agro Panorama, and I'm very sorry to disagree with the other reviews. The hotel is really nothing special. It's rated a 3-star but I don't know what their rating system is. The rooms are very small and not very clean. My friends and I had opted for...

As we were on a low budget we opted to stay at the Agro Panorama and didn't expect a whole lot. Were pleasantly surprised. Staff very friendly and helpful (apart from young girl in bar who couldn't be bothered to get off her mobile phone to serve us and who then the following night decided to close up early at...

I spent 4 nights at this hotel in Budapest during my Easter holidays. I think you cannot find a better service for what you spend here (i paid 14 euros per person per night with breakfast included!). Yes, the hotel is quite outside the city centre (15 - 20 minutes by bus - note on the other side of the...
