Mandala hostel is a hotspot for travellers and you won't find a better place to stay in Budapest moneywise and qualitywise. Definitely a place where you will meet likeminded people. Mandala is an exception of all other hostels in Budapest.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere! They make you feel like home and when I arrived they made me tea. Bed is comfortable, but the room was a little cold. Only stayed for one night, and was sad because I think I would have a blast with the people there. Bring your own lock for the baggage storage!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. it's a very cosy and unique place in a city with so many party hostels. It's close to a couple of train stations so easy to get to the main sights and there's a few restaurants nearby. Bed was not the best but the room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom...

I've stayed in Mandala couple of times, because if always feels like family. I recommend it to everybody! Hostel's pets are lovely, perfect location in the center. It's clean and cozy place, wifi works perfectly, they provide towels and free coffee and tea which again is perfect. Staff is super friendly and helpful. See you at Mandala again soon!

Mandala has a super chilled out vibe, and a beautifully welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This is a reminder of how hostels used to be - perfect for solo travellers looking to meet people particularly. It's impossible not to feel at home and integrate yourself with the whole team (and the hostel animals!). Props to the managers Kate and Trey for...

We had booked a private room at Mandala hostel and it turned out to be in a seperate appartement near the hostel.
